I'm also a Pexer. Having said that, here's my take:

Since this happened only "last night" and you texted the girl this am, I'm assuming the breakup happened only this morning? Who broke up with whom?

In any case, I personally think breaking up is an overreaction. I also agree that you overreacted when you texted the girl.

Honestly, I think you overreacted from the very first moment. Of course, this is just me. But from your story, I deduced that:

1) Your bf did not single out the girl for his invites. You mentioned yourself that he was asking "people" to play badminton. Maybe those people he pmed were from the badminton thread or something so he thought that they would understand his "passion" for badminton. That said, you did not mention if all those people he pmed were girls. So to say that he was flirting, well, I can't say for certain. If he also pmed some boys, would you say that he was flirting with them?

2) You did not say when the exchanges took place, but if it was not even two days, they may not even have met and cemented their plans to go play badminton. Well, from the pm of the girl, it was clear that they did not know each other, so she found it necessary to include her number and info. Likewise, clearly it was devoid of any flirtatious message, otherwise you would have included it in your story. Malas lang niya that she was the only one who replied and so got your ire.

3) Again, did the request of your xbf contain any hint of flirting? Or was it simply straightforward: badminton tayo! Looks like the latter, since you yourself did not mention it in your story.

4) Even the text of the girl that it was okay with her husband shows that she was not even hiding her status, and that her husband may also know of the badminton game. Heck, maybe her husband would also be going for all we know, in case the plans push through. What is clear is that it was clean and out in the open and that she is not hiding from anyone.

5) Finally, you don't even know if his friends are also invited to the game. There was no indication at all that he and the girl are going out alone, right? Considering that he invited a lot of people, maybe that game was meant to be a group affair. Maybe he was right after all, that you were included in the plans, except that there was no definite plan yet.

So I think you jumped the gun here by texting the girl. Maybe he was flirting, but from your story itself, there was no sufficient evidence that he was.

Of course, you also had the right to be upset since your xbf did not tell you that he was planning a badminton game. and that he doesn't play with you even if you invite him. But these are issues that you need to resolve with your xbf alone, without including other people.

Ok sige, if he really sent that message, he MAY be flirting.

But do you have any proof that he sent the message? My husband regularly sends to himself quotes from my phone because he likes them daw. I do the same, no malice intended.

You don't know if he sent the message, or to whom. So I suggest, don't stress yourself over speculations. I'm not saying that he is innocent, just that you need to gather more proofs so that you can nail him. Right now, all you have are mere speculations -  madaling ideny and you would end up stressing yourself more.

And i agree with you - looks like your life revolves around him. Go out with your friends, widen your social circle. It would benefit you more. And the moving on process would be much easier.

Still, there is a reason for breaking up with you and this is really a flimsy reason. So you may be right, there may be someone else. Or he might be really bored or tired with the relationship. Or he may just be looking for an excuse to break up with you and this was it.

Whatever the reason was, the breakup is real.  So don't over-analyze what happened. Just look at it as a way for both of you to grow up.

Still, if he broke up with you for that petty reason, think hard if you really want to be with this guy. Because there will be more trials, and if broke down on this one, how would he handle the bigger ones?

Siguro sis baka nagkasawaan na at naghahanap si exbf ng thrill, it is best na may time out kayo para mamiss niya ang company mo. I feel for you sis and siguro ganyan din gagawin ko if ever mangyari yan sa akin baka nga awayin ko pa yang girl na super slut na yan may asawa na at lahat lahat nakikipagmeet pa ng stranger.  >:(

yeah i agree, guys do get bored lalo na when matagal na yung relationship and at times they would want to look for something exciting, like meeting new friends, going out to clubs and bars alone. ako i just let my man go for what excites him. im confident in our relationship, im confident about him and most of all im confident about myself. You have to know your worth sis and if you find a man worthy of you, you wouldnt have to worry :)

Question - do humor me on this even if it sounds odd.  When you confronted your BF about this what exactly did he do?  Did he use a lot of words to deny your accusation?  Did he cross his arms or place his hands over his privates?  Did he step back or move forward?  Lastly, have you noticed if he tends to unknowingly shrug one shoulder only and smirk a bit when he talks to you especially about his affections for you?

Hi, gilenn.  Sorry for the late reply.

When one is faced with a question that he finds difficult to answer in truth ay may mix range of emotions in a very short span of time.  Overloaded to the max ang brain most often which may be why he is exhibiting simangot and trying to ignore you.  The latter is often associated with someone who is trying to hide something.  One who is often confronted with an untruthful issue will deny it outright but no major rage issue.  Dahil wala naman siya dapat ikagalit.

Hi, gilenn :)

I did the math on your reply and much as I do hope you no longer would require to use such detection skills ay kailangan pa though :(

However, this doesn't mean its a hopeless cause.  The key is creating a balance in your responsibilities come the time you get serious with someone muli.  In short, there will be someone who will light up your life but this time it'll be your responsibilities sa work, family and relationship ang kailangan mo ayusin.

I strongly suggest that you meditate on this and ask God for assistance on this matter.
