Hi Mommies,

Can you suggest of schools in Pasig/Cainta area maybe which is around 30K lang? I am actually eyeing Sacred Heart Academy but they are about 40K+books and other fees (7K) and hindi kaya ng budget  Help help please! My son is incoming grade 1 and i would like him to go to a school which has secondary level offering as well. Para hindi na lipat lipat. We are living near Cambridge so schools sana na medyo malapit dun

sis my son who is in grade 1 is studying sa st michael montessori..jan lang sa pfci.. school na niya un since kinder pa.. 20k all in na un.. no tuition fee increase..most of his classmates taga cambridge din. til 4th yr na din siya..

I highly recommend Wesleyan Academy. The teachers are very concerned with the students. Sa mga schools na napaglipatan ng son ko, we are settling with Wesleyan Academy. Yung teacher and student ratio exact lang. They only have 1 section per level. My son was not into academics before, puro failing grades nga siya sa previous schools niya and his first Quarter sa Wesleyan, --- and now I am very proud na this 3rd grading, may 86% na siya. He is improving, thanks to his teachers. Sobrang attentive nila. Kapag kailangan ng extra hours for my son, they will inform me. Hindi ako ganon ka hands on mom before pero ngayon, sobrang na-appreciate ko yung help ng school niya.

Isa pa pala, my son is no longer into fights/bullies. Kasi lagi niyang sinasabi sakin, the people and students sa school niya are nice kasi takot ma VR. hehe! Very good diba? They speak in english. Natuto yung son ko and he's better na in speaking in english. I thought something is wrong with my son pero hindi pala.

This is based on our observation when we visited some schools in Pasig;
This is for Preschool only.

Innocencio:

-School facilities are okay, modern and well equipped (A/C, CCTV,etc)
-Faculty staff is not that convincing. Wrong grammar and parang hindi concern sa bata
-Preschool teacher na nakausap namin, hindi rin pumasa sakin. Parang kabado and anytime pwedeng sigawan ng mga students niya (IMO)
-Cheap tuition fee (30-40k, pasok sana sa budget)
-Montessori/Progressive approach
-EOP

Woodstock:
-House turned school
-A/C rooms, not sure with CCTVs
-strict security din because maliit lang siya, parang bahay lang talaga
-Expensive tuition fee (almost 50k)
-Progressive
-We like the teacher assigned to us, she speaks very well and she immediately got my son's attention. Usually kasi mag iphone games lang si baby, pero with her, baby is listening pa.
- EOP

ANTS:
- We saw a student who speak purely tagalog and parang bully  (natakot agad kami)
- small and parang masikip
- teachers and staff are not convincing too, at least for me. (IMO)


We will visit other schools pa;

sis aceofhearts salamat sa info! Taga Rosario ako actually neigbor ko ang Woodstock but I never bothered asking them about fees hehe. Busy Bees yata, homeschooling approach kaya di ko type. I was always wondering what's inside Inocencio at ang weird din ng uniform ng kids dun, di bagay sa weather natin sa Pinas (kahit sabihin pang A/C ang rooms nila, pano paglabas diba haha).

Malayo na sakin ang Parkwood parang looban pa kasi yun at di ko pa yata i-service ang son ko, bagong panganak naman ako by June so ok sana yung malapit lang. Pero pwede naman yata mag Tricycle hehe

^ sis ayami, innocencio's uniform for HS girls looks like sailor moon, parang japanese lang ang peg. But for preschool and grade school okay naman. Another thing, napansin namin ni hubby, mostly gays ang teachers sa HS. I have nothing against gays pero sabi ni Hubby, somehow it affects daw kasi nga they are supposed to be role models sa mga kids. 

Sis funky f, i will check Parkwood Playschool again. Dun nag summer class kid ko when he was 3 years old.  I will check their curriculum and school facility. By the way, ayos na ba playground nila? I find it a bit dangerous kasi for kids to play, mabato diba? saka sa semento?

nykola (cole) and calista (charli).  what class does claire belong to?  alam ko last kami nadadaanan ng bus kaya most probably, nakasakay na your daughter sa bus when it gets to our house.

may isa pang mom from gwoods whose daughter goes to PW e - house nila across lang ng covered courts where the trick or treat was held.

@cynth, di pwede sa kin milk tea now coz i'm preggy pero one milk tea won't hurt, i guess    set na natin!   hehe!
