Schools in Pasig

Hi mga sis, I hope you can help me here. Im transferring my son in Pasig. I currently work here in Pioneer, tapos I want sana close lang sa school and work yung house namin. Im looking for a school + house/apartment for rent. Sa kapitolyo, nakita ko Westdrive ang magandang school na afford ko. How about sa PCC? Mga 30k lang ang budget ko. Gusto ko sana yung teachers may concern sa students. Di kailangan kilalang school basta quality naman.

^ Try Parkwood Playshool. It is a very good progressive school plus they offer Singapore Math. It's quite near Rosario narin.

Im planning to enroll my daughter there for summer classes as well. How was it for your son?

^ Okay naman sis. He was only 2 at that time so mejo iyakin pa. May separation anxiety pa siya nun. But overall, okay naman yung summer camp. No regrets. The student ratio is 8:2 ata sila nun. And everyday they bring home their activities like artworks, their cooked/baked/prepared food, etc.  They had a swimming day too, every Friday.

What I don't like much lang in Parkwood is their playground most especially sa pool nila, its full of rocks, and sementado. Its not safe for kids playing around lalo na pag galing sa pool. I hope na improved na nila un by this time.

yung tuition po sa westdrive magkano po? mas alam ko po kasi yung sa bandang kapitolyo kasi way ko yun papuntang office. thanks!!

Hi sis, sorry super late reply I don't frequent GT lately. As for my feedback, I'm happy with A.N.T.S. they have small groups in each level (Nursery-Prep) they have good curriculum and my son enjoyed his stay there. Luckily my son got the highest academic achievement award - nursery level. 

CONS: the school space is a bit crowded and the area is small.

My son is studying in Pasig Community School (Chinese School,) near Mercedez Ave. What can I say? Hmmm.... I'm having a hard time teaching my kid Mandarin because I don't know Mandarin. LOL.

so far okay naman sa acads ang Pasig Community School. may regular subjects at may Chinese subjects (reading, writing, composition, phonetics at pronunciation). pero yun average grades for honor rolls ay base pa rin sa regular subjects. kapag bumagsak sa chinese ang bata, summer lang pero hindi apektado ang average standing nya sa klase. medyo mahaba lang ang oras ng klase 7AM-3PM for all levels. it either good or bad for the kid. good for longer hours of study. bad for less attentive kids and may give stress. Grade 2 kase yun son ko.

ang beef ko lang ay yun sports program nila. parang taekwondo lang meron sila. eh sabi ko sa anak ko, laos na ang taekwondo, MMA na ang uso. LOL. anyway, sports ni kid football pero sa labas sya ng school nagtraining/ laro.

hello... im just wondering if any of you knows the tuition fee of poveda and st. paul-pasig for grade school... my daughter will be in Grade 1 next school year. im a single parent and a student also, so i have little time to inquire schools personally..

if you have any ideas as to how much, please feel free to reply, i will truly appreciate them all.. thank you so much...
