^yup sis, i live near sandoval bridge.. medyo malapit un sken.. hopefully maging ok.. may monthly payment scheme sila di ba? balak ko nga ganun muna payment na gagawin ko since di ko alam kung tatagal sa school anak ko.. para hindi sayang kung i-full ko tapos bigla ayaw na pumasok.. bakit pala bawal school bus?

reggio is okay kaso super mahal then sabi ng neighbor namin somehow they'll push the idea na maghanda yun bata during their birthday sa school

I have a niece who studies in Parkwoods. I just hate it everytime my sister invites us to attend their gatherings.  Maganda nga yung venue but they make you wait forever.

This year we attended 2 occasions to watch my niece. Their Christmas Show and Moving Up. My gosh we came on time or even before pa nga BUT it did not start after an hour or so after.  Unfair naman yun sa parents na nag punta ng maaga. We had to wait for the other kids(more than an hour ha). The venue was all the way up to Antipolo meaning we left the house early to make sure we arrive on time. And we did. We found out the reason for the delay was because of a bangaan or a road was being fixed or something at that time. But duh we arrived on time. Why can't the others??? I almost wanted to tell my ate nako next time let's be late pwede naman pala...

2nd was during their moving up. Again it started late. Yes LATE!! What's worst pa kase the reason why we try to arrive early so we can get good seats. Nako we all had to wait till almost everyone was there until they opened the venue. So lahat had to race inside. I just find it unfair talaga. I hope they do something about it.  We always ask the kids to be punctual, to wake up early for school and eto pala yung nangyayari everytime may affair sila. You can be LATE!

We on the other note. I have seen a big improvement on my niece. Explore na ata sya next school year. Yey! She can count and she knows all the letters. Thanks teachers!

I apologize if you feel inconvenienced by the program schedule.

We always ask the students to come to the venue 1 hour before we open the doors to the viewers.  We use that time for blocking and last minute changes.  Parents are aware of this, and we advise them to wait in the picnic grounds if we're in Faith Academy.  It is such a beautiful place, over-looking the Metro.  Lot's of trees and a good wind - it's like you're not even in Manila anymore. 

I won't apologize though for our venue because we really strive to look for the best venue available.  Faith Academy is an international school with top-notch facilities.  Their Cadd theater boast of the best accoustics in Manila - better than Meralco theater.  It's a $5 Million theater that not every school can rent out & I feel very lucky that Parkwood Playschool is one of the few that they allow to hold programs there. 

A couple of years back, we had all our programs in Shangri-La Mall but the hall we rented out is not available anymore.  Before that, we had our programs at the British School at The Fort naman. 

My students have worked really hard on their performances & we just want to give them the best venue possible.  I'm sorry but we will never consider a clubhouse just because its near, pero super hot (no aircon, terribly uncomfortable) naman.    Another thing great about Faith Academy is that they have picnic/bbq grounds and a world-class pool complex.  After our programs, we have BBQ with the families while the kids play in their huge, 2-storey playground.

It's also not in Antipolo, just in Valley Golf Cainta.  We usually take 15 minutes going there - max 30mins na.  Same amount of time it takes if you go to any mall in Ortigas.  There was a big pile-up last December because of an accident, but it was an unfortunate-isolated thing.  My son goes to school there so I should know the regular travel time. 

It is true that we started late for our Christmas program because a lot of kids got stuck in traffic because of an accident.  If it was just a couple, we wouldn't have waited but it was at least 12 kids.

Anyway out of the 200 school days we have, we only spend 3 Saturdays in Faith Academy (Christmas, Family Day & Moving-up). 

If any of you parents want to go up and have a bbq lunch with our family, I'll be glad to host.  Just let me know when Daddies can grill, kiddos can play and us moms can just chill and bond.  Fun no?

@ Teacher_Cheryl, Venue ng programs is really nice. And if you read my post very well I did not complaint about the place at all. What I was complaining about is how late you start your programs and that is not a good practice. I am sure you know that. Actually we did not go to the venue to look at the trees, picnic grounds, feel the breeze etc BUT to watch my niece. We value our time too and a $5 Million theater cannot buy our time. 

Yung di ko lang gusto sa Parkwoods Playschool is how late they start with the programs.  They tolerate other parents who arrive late. Even my niece and the other kids with us was complaining and kept on asking what time it was na. Again we arrived on time.  I guess if ALL parents were aware that they should be in the venue an hour before the program then walang reason for the program to start late... Na kaya nga namin and the other parents.

It was on 2 occasions that I have attended na late nag start yung program. Again the Christmas Program and The Moving Up. I guess I should ask my ate if late din yung Family Day??? I hope not coz that's really something na... I would understand if we waited for a few minutes but more than an hour on 2 occasions? Ummmm

School starts on Wed for Noelle.  Looking forward na sya sa new classmates nya. Will be dropping by school tom for a meeting with her adviser and have to drop her stuff narin. Sooo excited 

We did not avail of Parkwoods School Service since I find it too expensive. Almost same yung rate binigay nila sa amin with those coming from Greenwoods considering were a block away from the school lang... Sigh

^Prep na sis.. nako sis deadma lang daughter ko. Didn't even say bye2. Takbo agad and place her stuff sa cubicle. Siguro kase sanay na. But last year when it was her first time she didn't cry din. Uber excited.. Bus sis is 1,300 and were just a block away. Cute ng mga discover..

@roxybrat, was there during the 1st day!  discover din daughter ko under t. ianne.  dun sa kabilang class, grabe iyakan.  nagkahawaan, i guess.  our service costs 2,500 a month - including the yaya.

^naku sis congrats syo at sa class na yan behave mga bata.. hehe.. un son ko kay teacher anna.. ayun isa sa mga umiyak.. andami nilang boys dun 7, tapos 3 girls.. puro boys ang umiiyak.. haha..  sa class ata ng daughter mo 5boys 5 girls..

next week di ba di na allowed pumasok dun? pano kung iyak pa rin ng iyak ang kids??
