hi,try the new villas in fontana,actually it's bigger than  a villa, there are  5 rooms and you have your own pool. very relaxing,may sauna pa hahaha... [textspeak!] 40k a night po siya pero sulit =) maganda po [textspeak!] for getaway toh,my fam and friends went there this april .

im looking for a place din for our family outing. i came across 9 waves resort, mukhang maganda sya and sabi nung nakausap ko don, 2000 daw capacity nung wave pool nila.

If you are based in MManila, and want to go on just daytrips -- what itinetary would you recommend?  Something that would include a place or 2 of significant interest, a couple of stops, and a great lunch.

Tagaytay is a favorite recommendation.  Apparently it is well-developed with lots of stuff to do,  lots of sites of interest.
Subic was mentioned too by my group, but - exactly what is there to do there?

In Subic, if you love adventures, Tree-top Adventure & Go-Kart. If with kids, Ocean Adventure and Zoobic Safari.

^^ Sis, you can go to Zoobic Safari and stare down a tiger in their locked caged in a 4x4. There's also Ocean Adventure to swim with the dolphins. Tree-top adventure has zipline too if I'm correct. Don't know lang how long the zipline is.

Or just simply enjoy the beach.

Then if you would like to drive further to Zambales, which is not that of a long ride, you can go to Anawangin cove and capones island and island hop. Daming na addict sa Anawangin. Isa ako dun.

---By the way, while doing this post, I was browsing the site of seahorse tours too. At ang dami pa palang pwedeng gawin. hehe May sky diving pa! Wow! I wanna try it too myself!

Hi sis, if you are looking for a place na bago, not crowded, with very good pool facilities, natural but modern I recommend Camp Benjamin in Alfonso, Cavite. We went there yesterday with the family and the experience was really superb. They just opened their Camp to walk-in guests this month so we really enjoyed the place dahil konti pa ang tao. We were there with another family.

We found it thru a friend na member ng isang religious organization who has been there during their youth camp. We were looking for a place na malapit lang from us na hindi crowded. When we arrived, the gate was closed coz di nila expected na may magwa-walk-in but they were happy to accommodate us. We were offered their promo rate of 600 per head, with use of the super gandang infinity pool (a must try talaga!), 2-way zipline, wall climbing, tour at the farm, use of basketball courts. The Camp's resto was closed so for our food they offered us a value meal na worth 100 pesos (3 menus to choose from). Nothing to rave about the food but okay lang coz we were really enjoying. We spent much of our time taking photos and swimming. The pool has a shore-like part with fountain so we were able to "leave" our kids (2 and 4 yrs. old) enjoying there while we were swimming nearby. Our teeners naman went to the court for basketball. We also tried their zipline and wall climbing and exciting din coz first time kami nakatry. Di na kami nakapagtour coz naubusan na kami ng time. Service was good too, mababait yung mga staff.

If you wanna go there, I advise na tumawag muna kayo to book para din ready sila. I think skeletal lang staff nila pag wala silang group events. They have a dormitel for corporate bookings but we were not able to see the rooms. We asked for the room rate just in case we want to stay overnight. They have a suite room daw at 5000 per night. Kung marami daw kami we can use the dormitel @ 1,999 per head with use of facilities, 3 meals and 2 snacks.

Overall, I think it's sulit, a value for money place and worth recommending. Sana lang pagbalik namin they maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the place plus bukas na yung resto nila. Nonetheless, perfect for weekend getaways if you want to recharge and relax.

We had our day tour in Manila before, kami lang nagplano ng itenirary. We went to Binondo Church to start our day with prayers. We were lucky kasi were able to attend the morning mass. Next is Luneta Park, we had our morning snack there. We also went to Planetarium kaya lang 4pm pa daw yung start nung show. Then, National Museum to fill our hungry brain cells (naks..!). We had our lunch sa Binondo. Actually, hindi lang sya lunch kung di super food trip talaga. Nagsearch lang kami sa internet ng mga recommended stalls/restos. The trick para matikman nyo lahat is sharing, chaka para hindi kayo mabusog agad. We also tried fried siopao and fresh lumpia. Pero alam ko may mapa na yata nagyon para sa Binondo food trip. It'll tell you kung saan yung resto pati yung specialty indicated din. Sorry mejo OT pero yan yung Daytrip namin in Manila. You can also add yung Intramuros sa place to visit nyo, if cam whore ka maganda papicture dun or you can also visit other museum like Money museum sa Banco Central. Wala kami ginastos sa mga entrance bale sa food trip and gas lang kami gumastos.

^ Wow! Cool ng lakad nyo! Hindi pa nakakapunta yung pamangkin ko sa Luneta at National Museum. Whenever we pass by Luneta, lagi syang nagtatanong about stuff. She's 9. Pag niloloko sya na hindi nya kilala si Rizal, humahaba yung nguso. So I want to take her there sometime. Correct me if I'm wrong sis, may train na daw sa Luneta? Sorta like a train for tourist?
