thanks sis gquind_rn, pinaghahandaan na kasi namin yung pagpasok ng anak namin next school year.  mas ok po ba na ipasok muna sa mga learning center or big school na agad? any feedback sa carmel child.

Hi mga mommies! I have been choosing schools na for my only daughter and my first choice is Poveda which their tuition fee for Kinder is at 100 thou +.. but my hubby also told me to get feedbacks about Miriam College, any mommy  who has their child in Miriam College any feedback about the school and is it the same as the TF of Poveda? And how was the school campus and students?

Hi Mommies! Baka some of you send their children to schools inside Teacher's Village/Sikatuna Village. I am considering the smaller schools kasi in the area for my 3year old daughter. The nearby schools are:
-Fremont Learning Center
-Mayfield Montessori
-Ambassador School
-Torch of Life learning center

Yung Learning Tree for elementary yung nasa Teacher's Village e.

^ hi sis. my son studied in Torch of Life. he stayed there for toddler class and nursery. personally, i like Torch. for me, the student-teacher ratio was ok (around 10-12 lang ata sila in their class that time) tapos may teacher aides pa sila kaya natutukan yung mga bata. airconditioned din yung rooms kaya good mood yung mga bata even if medyo mainit sa labas. academically, during toddler class, they were taught some basic skills (e.g. tie their shoe lace, fixing their stuff, eating with minimal supervision). during nursery, iniintroduce na yung mga usual subjects especially reading - may concept na ng alphabet, numbers, and some math (like shapes and colors). may mga activities din yung mga bata kaya hindi lang puro academics. i remember may halloween trick or treat, xmas program, and even field trip (kasama parents/guidance) so well-rounded ang bata paglabas. madali rin naka-cope yung anak ko when i transferred him to a bigger school (claret). tuition is also reasonable (comparing to the other preschools in the katipunan area). hope this helps.

hi mommies!.   my son is 4yrs now, i send him in school last year at 3 yrs old..so surprise of all his improvements..at age of 3 my son knows how to write,natutunan nya [textspeak!] un sa school and now that his 4 he knows how to read. suggest ko [textspeak!] sa lhat ng mommies if your looking for the best schools for your child THE CHILDRENS DISCOVERY CENTER (CDC) is the one your looking for located [textspeak!] po sya sa 6 gleen st. dona faustina village tandang sora QC..may halloween party din cla, then xmas program bawat isa sa knila may line na sasabihin,and sa last day of school (march) may talent show..merun din fieldtrips to museum and ecology exposure to orachrd farm at san mateo and sa bonsai garden..sa school pagpasok change cla ng footwears nila which is nkalagay sa shoe bag and the [textspeak!] bags nila may sarili silang cabin. natutunang maging independent ng baby ko sa school kumakain sya mag isa wherein dati sinusubuan nmin sya sa bahay..last year 3 students [textspeak!] cla sa class but now 4 students na cla..kaya talgang matutukan ng mabuti ang bata, minsan mag isa [textspeak!] anak ko, pro dahil sa magaling ang teacher hindi nakakaramdam ang anak ko ng pagod or tamad sa pag pasok sa school, he loves going to school..dati nga prang nag doubt pa kmi ng hubby ko kc prang naglalaro [textspeak!] cla sa school, nasabi nmin may matutunan kaya cla..pro at the end na aamaze kmi kc sobra daming alam ng anak nmin..lahat halos ng graduates from CDC goes to Ateneo, STC, Poveda,UP and Claret..CDC is

*non graded system with constant teacher-parent weekly report
*small class size (children to teacher ratio)
*UP Teachers

as far as i know sis, during my son's stay sis, wala naman accidents na nangyari. yung indoor playground kasi nila may mga mat so kahit madapa yung bata while playing, hindi ganun ka-delikado. for the toddler classes, the classrooms also have mats. may CR din sa loob ng classroom for toddler classes para mas madali makapunta yung mga kids when needed. may teacher-aide din so supervised yung mga chikiting.

^ you're welcome sis. i really suggest sis na you visit the schools in your list (not only TLA). try to bring your daughter din to see how she responds to the school's environment.

^yes, mag-visit talaga kami sa mga nasa list and consider my daughter's choice sa decision-making. I'm gathering feedback lang from moms kasi syempre school personnel will promote the school kaya sugarcoated answers na ibigay nila sa akin sa mga tanong ko

My daughter is in Miriam CSC. She enrolled in nursery and is now in kindergarten. I'm happy with the school mainly cause she's very happy there  For first step, which is their pre-school, tuition from what I remember is 95k and they accept toddlers who are 2.8 months by June
