Hi everyone! I'm new here and I found this network very useful. I would just like to know the advantages and disadvantages in enrolling my son in Carmel Child Development and Learning Center in Tandang Sora QC. Any feedback is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. 

only disadvantage i see is pagwala kang car medyo malayo ang lakad papunta dun sa gate. we enrolled our daughter yesterday. we're looking into bus services, CCDLC referred to us some services. Though it is not connected to them. Haven't called them yet.

Thanks for the reply  btw, were u able to check the CR on each room? di kasi namin na-check.. if yes, how does it look like? was it a common CR or may pam-boys at girls?

Parang di ata ok ang common cr... I find that weird. And mahirap

i've seen the bathroom, ok naman sya. every room has its own toilet. mahirap naman na 2 toilet per room since the classroom is not that big. for me it's okay na din may mag aassist naman sa kanila if they need to go. maximum students per class is 16 i was told.

^for me ok rin yung CR kasi may teacher assistant naman who always assists them for toileting and even pag washing of hands, they fall in line and one by one sila ina-assist.  Saka yun nga sis small class size lang naman sa Carmel especially pag 8 am class like sa son ko nung nursery sya 8 lang sila sa class and nung kinder 1 sya last year e 10 lang sila..Usually pang 9 am and afternoon class na yung umaabot sa 15..

^hi sis. Try to call carmel na lang sis baka they can send it to you via email. They get the checklist kasi when you submit those items in the list and probably most parents have submitted them by now. :-)

Sis hindi ako makapagrepy sa iyo e. Anyway, oo butas bulsa ko haha d ko expect na may ganun pa, nung nag enrol kami nung last week of enrollment nakalimutan nilang ibigay sakin yung list, kya yesterday lang ako nakapagpass. Anung section ng anak mo sis?

^ sis bump, incoming grade 2 sis yung son ko. oo sis, grabe bukod sa mahal, ang dami pa! tapos bawal pa i-cover ng plastic cover yung books nila. magiisip na naman ako ng way para hindi mabugbog agad yung books.

Hi sis! Ask ko lang how much TF ng grade 2 son mo sa Claret? Am planning to transfer my son to Claret next year. He's grade 2 now at Lourdes QC. He finally gave in to transfer! 😄 TIA.

We attended the parents orientation of OLL CDC. It was long, arrived 2pm (they were starting na) and ended 5pm! But i was very informative naman. Medyo nastress lang ako kase ang daming bawal when it comes to baon! No chocolates or mocha of any kind --- drinks, biscuit, wafer etc. hotdog, sausage, spam, instant noodles a big no! Hay... although i know naman talaga na these are not healthy for our little ones but sana kahit once in awhile  Tumblers dapat yung walang straw kase it gets so dirty daw inside. Only 1 bag is allowed so yung baon and tumbler is inside the bag. Well I guess am just not used to this anymore coz my eldest is in Grade 2 na and his preschool wasn't as strict.

^ wow, ang OC pala sis...talagang may ganun na bawal ang straw?Hehe well, they have a point naman..pero kung malinis naman yung straw sa tumbler bakit pinagbabawal pa?Hehe i also attended my kid's orientation last saturday sa UP PAUW. ang bawal lang sa food is junk foods-are biscuits considered as such? kasi di pa masyadon sanay kumain yung anak ko ng bread na may palaman..minsan, yung cheese lang kinakain nya, di kasama yung bread.

hi sis! sorry for the late reply. tuition ng son ko this year is around 67K-69K. hindi pa kasama dito yung books, pero kasama na yung other school supplies like notebooks, pencils, crayons, etc. yung books nya (10 books) nasa 5K. ako sis, mode of payment ko is semi-annual. mabigat kasi kapag annual, pero mapapamahal ka naman if you chose the quarterly or monthly mode of payment. hope this helps.

^ thanks sis slickchick! Malake difference sa total ng payment schemes ng claret? Sa lourdes qc kase p500 additional per payment scheme. But am really decided to transfer him next year. Sis, just want to get your personal feedback on claret kahit pm lang if you're not busy. Thanks so much!

^ sis, based sa computation ko, around 3K-4K yung difference, especially if you go for monthly, parang lumalampas pa ng 4K. sige sis, will send you a PM on my personal feedback on claret.

My son is studying at divine grace. Nursery 1 sya 36k ang tuition. Gusto ko sa school na to kasi konti [textspeak!] students 20 lang tapos kada year level 1 section lang. Strict ang security plus may playground pa kaya happy si baby

My 2nd son is attending Corner House near our place. Traditional style of teaching and small school lang.
TWe initially wanted to enrol him in Claret but we're afraid. Baka biglang ayaw na mag school so sayang ang tuition. Naghanap kami ng pwede un pag nag pull out un bata hindi kna magbabayad sa school. Sayang kasi dun din sa Claret ang kuya nya. The TF for cash payment in his school now is 18,500 included na books at supplies. We opted the monthly scheme para safer. 20k for monthly. Maayos un teachers. The grammar is good and correct pronunciation. Early Childhood  Education graduates pa.
