^^^ sis bump how's Claret in giving home works? Everyday ba? Same with exams? Mukhang ok naman ata Claret since nagstay na dun eldest mo. Wala kasi ako makitang feedback from this school although I already enrolled him na. But wala pa sila calendar of activities kung kelan start ng class. Basta Sabi sakin they will call us for orientation.

yes they notify via text. walang patid yang text program nila. circulars are given during start of classes na. alam ko june 13 is the start.

finally, we were given a slot at UP PAUW CSC for this school year meron na ba dito mga moms who have kids enrolled there already? i wanted to  have an idea how much is the tuition fee. alam ko kasi before halos same lang sila ng rate ng UP KDCC, which is arouynd 3k+/month.

Hi! I'm a new member here. I have a daughter, she's turning three in August. We are planning to enroll her in June. I am interested in the following schools:

Kalinga Day Care Center,
UP CDC, and
UP PAUW.

May I now the phone numbers and addresses? Feedbacks please?
By the way, we live in Proj. 8.

^sis, the schools you mentioned are all inside the UP Campus.

Kalinga Day Care Center (UP KDCC) - this one is at the back of the Church of the Risen Lord. They're not "strict" in applications, basta before June makapag-enlist ka na. My daughter went there last school year. Ok naman ang approach, and parang "ladderized" na sila, i mean, even if its the middle of the school year, thgey will transfer your kid to the next higher class level basta qualified sya, and if she passes the age bracket for the next level. medyo informal lang rin in the way na wala silang uniform
monthly payments last year were 3,200.

UP PAUW - we are going to transfer our kid here in June, got accepted after being waitlisted. January pa lang kasi they are accepting applications na. So, if you havent sent any application sa PAUW, mostly likely puno na mga slots. Ok din ang mga teachers dito, my kid attended her first summer art class with teachger james and peng We were supposed to enroll na nga last June kaso di sya pasok sa min age requirement, so we ended up at KDCC. they have approximately the same rate as KDCC, kaya lang meron sialng uniform. And maraming extra0-curricular activities ang mga kids (programs, plays,etc)

UP CDC - dito pinakamahirap pumasok lol! Pero if both parents are UP employees, mas malaki ang chance. If not, your kid's chance to study here is left to luch - meaning if maswerte ka sa palabunutan/raffle, kasi they raffle off remaining slots (usually, 4 slots per age group). Like PAUW, January pa yung application period nila. So right now, super labo if makapasok ang kid (unless I think may backer?)

hi sis bump! Claret din ba son mo? mine din. and i have to agree, even nung Kinder and Prep sya, halos everyday may homework. but it was good kasi napi-prepare ang bata for the major exams. went there yesterday to claim my son's name patches and buy his school books na rin. asked the guard when's the start of classes - June 17 daw. not sure though for the preschoolers in CSC. kasi last year, a few days later ang pasok ng CSC as compared to GS and HS.

Sis BUMP thanks for the input I really need to spend time pala talaga at night to check his notebooks. Late na din kasi ako umuwi from school & work. Nasanay ako before in UP CDC no notebook and no home works at all.

sis ARTEMIS26 & JAYCE_MOM my son came from UP CDC last year non-UP dependent. When he was 3yrs. old we first try our luck on his bracket with only 2slots available. But we were not lucky. On the following year we then tried again though we were reminded that no slot available on his age & gender bracket. After the draw, we already made a reservation with other school. To our surprise, the teacher head of UP CDC informed us that one of their student was not going to enroll so if we would like to take that slot. We said YES of course! We're really happy that we got in. The people and teachings are incomparable with other progressive schools in Q.C. to think that their tuition is only 15,500/sem. My son really really enjoyed every moment of his stay there.

Yup, 4yrs old na sya nun. Kahit naka reserve na kami sa ibang school talagang grab ko pa rin UP CDC. We really made the right decision. Masarap maging batangas CDC

i got a text message from PAUW-UP na pwede na daw magenrol yung anak ko. I was surprised and thankful kasi nung monday lang ako naginquire at nung wednesday lang nagpasa ng application form.

Question lang po sa moms na may anak sa PAUW, ok po ba talaga don? target din kasi namin ang UPIS. may mga mas malapit saming schools pero kung ok talaga sa PAUW, why not diba, I heard mahirap din makapasok pero we got in na rin. Please send me contact# na din pala ng mga shuttle service, we are near tandang sora..

slickchick- anong level na son mo sis? laging una GS & HS sa CSC sa pasukan. Mahal ng books grabe!

engrsheng- you must talaga kasi dami mga impt things na nakalagay dun. they paste ng circulars there. adjustment yan sa kiddo mo kasi maraming school works.

^ sis bump, incoming grade 2 sis yung son ko. oo sis, grabe bukod sa mahal, ang dami pa! tapos bawal pa i-cover ng plastic cover yung books nila. magiisip na naman ako ng way para hindi mabugbog agad yung books.

Mga sis,

Finally! We got a text message from UP KDCC asking us kung kukunin namin yung slot ng nagback-out. Siyempre, we said yes. Buti na lang umabot kami, wala ng available slots nung nag-apply kami.

Accomodating yung teacher na nag-entertain sa amin nung nag-inquire kami. Cozy at conducive to learning yung room, nagustuhan agad ng daughter ko nung pumunta kami. Sa younger children group sya. 

Orientation will be on June 4.

I'm really having trouble in finding a preschool fr my three year old kid. I inquired in UP PAUW but my son is waitlisted.

A teacher in UP CDC recommended me at this school at Proj. 8 or 6. It is handled by UP Professors too who studied child development. Does anyone know of this school's name I forget... and do you have contact numbers? thanks

@camilla04 - sis baka Creative Explorers in Visayas ave.  alam ko from UP nga teachers dun.  Two years ago dapat dun ko enroll son ko kaso afternoon class available e gusto namin is morning class.  Progressive school and very accomodating yung teacher na nakausap namin nun.  This was our second option before, the first was Carmel Child where we eventually enrolled our son. Pa-google na lang sis for the contact number.
