I enrolled my 4 year old  in Headway School for Giftedness - progressive method naman and their activities posted in their website look very interesting.

^how old is your daughter sis? Anong level sya sa OLL? Malapit lang yan sa amin. Kabilang kanto lang pwede lakarin. Dyan din namin ieenroll si baby pero baka next year na. Mag play school muna sya

She's turning 3 this April 27. Sa 2s and 3s class sya.

Hi mommies.im new here. Im torn between two school here in tandang sora, quezon city..
Which do you prefer or better fory 3-year old daughter? Small preparatory school (carmel child learning development center or ccldc) or big school (maria montessori of quezon city). Nahirapan ako magdecide since their tuition fees are almost the same, mas flexible lang ang payment terms sa ccldc (but of course mas mahal ng 5,000 sa total amount ng tuition for their monthly payment term. Im more particular sa way of teaching, kung saan mas maganda, i like dun kasi mag grade school ang anak ko sa big school like montessori also, so naisip ko better ba na dun sya magstart na ng nursery para hindi na palipat lipat ng school, but mayroon ba kayong feedback sa maria montessori? Please i need your help mommies. I will wait for your replies. Thank you!

^my son is incoming kinder 2(prep) at ccd&lc.  He's been studying here since nursery. Very satisfied and happy with the school.  very good curriculum, teachers, and staff.  Sayang nga kasi wala silang grade school. Pero, i highly recommend this. Sabi ko nga sa husband ko buti we came to know the school. Actually, dito ko rin sa gt nalaman yung carmel and no regrets and only praises for the school.  for me, ok lang naman di agad big school para di rin ma-overwhelm yung kid lalo  na first time mag-school.  About maria montessori, i thought nasa 100k plus tf nila, buti pala hindi naman.  Sana nga marami magbigay feedbacks para pag grade school na anak ko gawin namin option to.

Actually first option ko maria montessori until i found ccldc nga. Maria montessori is 57k for nursery pero may nagsabi din sakin na 100k kapag gradeschool but im not sure pa dun. Tomorrow we'll have assessment and will check na din facilities. Thank you sa pag share..

^ Hindi ko masyado gusto vicinity ng St. Therese sa may banawe. Parang malapit sya sa LTO kaya ang daming sasakyan na nakakalat tapos ang daming tao.

^thanks sis. Eto kasi pinaka malapit sa amin. Walking distance lang. Visited this and ollcdc yesterday and i'm torn. former directress of deped ang owner nya. Si dr. Teresita domalanta so that's a plus for me kasi all of the rooms are not just airconditioned and has a cctv. No stairs. Has a play area and the waiting area is comfortable. The most comfy that i saw.

Hirap pala mag hanap ng preschool.

^Kung walking distance naman, ok lang. Kase ako I had to consider the parking sa paghatid and sundo sa kanya. Also when I went there, hindi ako nakababa kase nga walang parking and parang natakot ako sa area  So I called and aske for details and TF kaso they didn't want to give the TF.

Ask ko how much TF?

share ko lang, we finally made up our mind and nag reserve na kami sa carmel child dev and learning center here at tandang sora Quezon City. 

First I went to GoldenPot, the one near mercury drug store, inside Gloria II ata, single room lang and no AC,but they have playground, tapos mainit ang waiting area ng bantay. Their class is limited to 5 students for 2.5 to 3.5 age, tuition is 26k with discount pag cash.

Then we visited CCDLC, it's inside a subdivision. I loved the place right away, very homey, colorful, my daughter loved their playground which is not too big but not too small.
There's 8am class and 12nn class. I chose the afternoon class. Tuition is P50,750 plus 7500 miscellaneous. They have annual, semi, quarterly and monthly payment mode so di mabibigatan ang parents. Progressive school din sya. They concentrate daw on Reading and Writing for Nursery, but there are other subjects as well. Uniform is so cute. hehe.

I wanted Dewey sana kaso one time we passed by it I saw the guardians nasa labas ng school naghihintay, napakainit. Im not sure if they changed the waiting area na, but still turn off sakin yung nasa tabi ng kalsada. Not that the kids will run off outside pero parang dangerous pa rin and also polluted sa labas. Observation ko lang naman.

Ask ko how much TF?

From the gate, there's a waiting area, admission office, separate cr for boys and girls for student's use only daw, laboratory room, and 4 rooms for toddler class, nursery and kinder. If i remember it right.

The tf is 30k plus 8k misc. The teacher told me their students are somewhat scholars bec half of the expenses are shouldered by dr. Domalanta. That's why daw the tf is reasonable. Mukha namang okay. Di lang okay sa akin is di pa potty trained baby ko. and sa sidestreet lang ang parking. Kung di sya located very near us di ko din icoconsider kasi parking is one of my requirements din as i want to wait for my child.

^mura TF dyan. Sa OLL 60K for cash and 65k for monthly scheme peto inclusive na ng uniform, field trips, activites and costumes. Side street lang din parking ng OLL tapos main road pa.

sa carmel 3 subdivision sya sis. #6 Jose St.  Sa Cherry foodarama kame dumadaan although may daan
sa malapit sa st.vincent seminary kaso may oras lang. 4pm ata open gate ewan sa morning what time.
we havent tried to pass through the gate.

Hello mommies... Just want to ask what's the usual class hours for kinder/ prep level? Because in Claret almost 5hrs a day with only one 30mins. Break time. From our previous preschool kasi 3hrs lang. Do you think normal Lang yun? By the way 1:30-40 ang student ratio nila. Thanks for the input...

^yes ganun talaga na talaga since k12. nun time ni Kuya as a kinder alam ko 4hrs lang sila. my son started kinder dun. in our experience hindi umaabot ng 40 students per class. mag grade 6 na un eldest ko dun.
