Preschools in QuezonCity II

Hi.

My son goes to Carmel Child for Kinder and i am satisfied with my child's development. Tuition fee ranges from 40-50k+. The preschool is inside the subdivision and they are really strict when it comes to security. The teachers are really nice and i can see that the kids there are really having a great time.

 

hello mommies! I already started to look for preschools near our area. I live in NIA Village and I am willing to send my baby as far as Congressional/Mindanao Ave. and Tandang Sora/Visayas Ave area only since these places are accessible. However, I went in Gingerbread this afternoon to inquire about the tuition fee and I was shocked that their tf for jellybeans (3yo kids) ranges from as low as 75k and as high as 112k depending on the payment options. I also went to John Dewey and their tf ranges from 57k-65k. I admit that sending a child to preschool is way too expensive.

Now, I am seeking your kind advice and if you can suggest good and affordable schools which does not sacrifice the education of little kids especially on this stage. I know some but it's good that somebody can refer according to their satisfied experience which can attest that their kids learned a lot. if possible, I'm looking for english as medium of instruction.

Have you heard or can you please give me insights for ROMARINDA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, ACELINA MONTESSORI, LITTLE LAMB PRE SCHOOL, CARMEL CHILD LEARNING CENTER? if you can add some then that would be more helpful.

There are also big schools like St. Anthony, Colegio de San Lorenzo and Montessori in Visayas Ave but I doubt that they teach nursery in English. I'm very much concerned because I don't want my baby to be bullied someday since her last name (hubby's surname) is something that can be teased about and they might call her funny names as what my hubby and brother and sisters-in-law experienced when they were young. I studied in St. James from kinder to HS and as what I read earlier, I will not be sending her there since the good teachers were gone.

sis, I live in NIA, in front of the IHMC However, my daughter goes to KDCC for school, pero toddler school lang sya, hindi pa talaga yung "formal" na nursery school. We are thinking of sending her sana to UP CDC for her nursery school pero we have no luck sa bunutan for granting slots dun.

I know that UP may be far from NIA (we hire a cab kapag di pwede si hubby maghatid), pero we would still want her sana to have a UP education, kaya we are eyeing UP PAUW/Child Study Center. Pero like what other sisses have said here, and I have read a lot of good reviews na rin about Carmel Child Meron din yung Bloomfields Learning Center, I think this is within NPC, sa may San Miguel Villas? Isked namin to check these schools out. Yung Romarinda, diba bago lang sya, on what used to be St. Claire right? Medyo off lang na blinking lights yung name ng school nila for me..hehe

You can also check out Community of Learners Foundation (COLF) which is in Barangay Valencia Hills, near N. Domingo (other side).

i'm planning to enroll my son at camelean academy in proj 4 for sch yr 2013-2014. i've visited their school already and so far i'm satisfied with what i saw. Their curriculum is ok as well. Their students are well behaved and very active.

they have summer classes as well which cost 5k.

hi sis mayayit! you might want to check out milestone preschool along m. paterno. it's near horseshoe. that's where my 3 year old daughter is studying and i'm very happy and satisfied with them. there's also another one in that area, kinder explorers.

sure sis, they actually gave out the new tuition fee rates 80k, uniforms not included 450 per set, meals from mon-thurs included friday is baon day. was so happy with their feeding program since my daughter is really picky but she learned to eat veggies which she call plants hehe. they also teach the kids how to dress themselves. their program is really well rounded and you can be assured that your child is well taken care of. hope this helps

forgot to mention din pala tf is inclusive of all the field trips during the school year. we had 2 minor and 2 major fieldtrips.

ur welcome sis! just returning the favor. dito ko din kasi first nakita school na to and i'm so thankful na pinilit ko talaga dito mag aral daughter ko. my hubby kasi prefers another school na nice talaga building but my gut feel said otherwise hehe aside from the fact that the school he wanted was more expensive. included na din nga pala mandarin dun.

are you referring to UPIS? kinder level? around 5500 lang po for each sem. un lang dapat nakapasa anak mo sa entrance exam

I've been reading the discussions here and very much overwhelmed I just want to ask for your opinions regarding DILIMAN PREPARATORY SCHOOL ANNEX in NOVALICHES. Any reviews aout the school? Im planning to transfer my incoming Grade 3 son and Kinder daughter by June 2013. I am so disappointed with their current school. I hope you can help me. Thanks!

ah talaga may annex na pala ang DPS? anyway, my 3 olders brothers are products of DPS along Commonwealth. 1980's pa ito kaya sabi nila and ng Mama namin, maganda pa turo noon. Yung isang brother ko, naging Guidance Counselor dun year 2000 something. hindi nya kinaya, nag-resign sya. Classic Iskul Bukol daw. hindi lang daw students, pati school admin mismo.

my son is only 13 months pero parang gusto ko na rin mag-scout for pre-schools around Batasan/BF Homes/Don Antonio area. nasa list ko na ang NS Montessori inside BF. dun ako nag-preschool and sobrang gusto ko ang NS noon. sana maganda pa rin ngayon.

^ Sis, patry nitong link. not sure if that's their official page kasi hindi ako maka-open ng FB dito sa office. NS stands for Nieva Subong, the school's owner. anyway, 1985 pa ako nag-attend ng NS and sabi ng Mama ko, 5k tuition fee ko noon.

any recommendations around cubao area? pre-school hunting na rin ako for my 4 year old son, hindi siya nakapasok last year kasi my husband passed away.. nakapag inquire na ako sa pail and shovel (TF 75K, hindi ko kaya  ) and starland international school (TF 29K, pwede na kaso traditional method ang teaching)

any feedback as well as to the school will be very much helpful. my eldest is turning 4 this Sept & my husband & i are debating on whether we should already send him to school or not. i'm fearful that if he goes to school early, he might get bored eventually when he's already in the elementary...
