^ sis marose 17, i have tried to talk to my son.  the only thing i got from him is that he cried daw.  when i asked him what happened, sabi naman "i'm okay, mommy.  i'm fine na." yet he refused to go to school pa rin. 

when i asked the teacher if my son cried, the teacher confirmed it.  my son cried daw kasi one time natulak nung classmate, the classmate apologized to my son na daw.  the 2nd time naman daw di pa daw tapos yung son ko sa activity nila, the classmates daw went out na to wash their hands na. so, naiwan yung son ko sa classroom. sabi ng teacher, mabagal daw yung son ko kumilos pero ayaw din daw nahuhuli. 

i joined their class last tuesday nung na-force ko yung son ko to go to school.  i noticed na ayaw ng son ko mag-join sa mga classmates nya to play.  parang di rin sya interested sa mandarin class nya.  but he participated naman sa other activities, pero parang ayaw nya masyado yung iba lalo na pag dancing na.  contrary to what the teacher said, nauuna matapos yung son ko sa lahat ng activities nila. mejo unsure lang sya about himself pero pag-alam naman nya, nag vovolunteer naman sya to answer questions of the teacher.  so hindi ko tuloy lalo maintindihan yung observation nung teacher vs. what i saw last tuesday.

my problem now is how to encourage my son to go back to his school.  that's why i am considering enrolling him na lang in a different school.  don't know if my decision is correct though :-(

^ sis sachism, i called-up bricks kanina.  their open pa naman kaya lang 8am yung start nung class. baka di kayanin nung son ko since we are from valenzuela :-(

^ sis mamapeew, di ko din alam bakit parang ang hirap kuhanan ng info nung teacher nung son ko. the only thing na mejo okay ako sa kanya is she allowed me to join my son last tuesday kasi nga nakita nya siguro na super iyak yung son ko sa gate pa lang ng school.  naka upo kami sa chair ng guard for almost an hour before i was able to convince him na mag walk sya to his classroom.  :-(

^ sis hunny_ally, my son started to attended galileo since january of this year.  nag summer class din sya last march.  regarding the 1 month, i was asked to give my son a month to adjust kasi gusto ko na nga siyang i-withdraw dun sa school.  nag worry kasi ako na masyadong rough yung ibang classmates nya. baka dun nang gagaling yung fear nya.  yun ngang assistant teacher nasa tabi na lang palagi nung 2 classmates nung son ko kasi super gugulo. :-(

plan ko na kung ayaw ng son ko pumasok bukas, i will let him not go to school muna para makalimutan nya what happened in school kung may nang yari nga.  on monday, try ko ulit sya encourage to go to school.  nag pa-sched din ako ng dev't pedia assessment on saturday baka they can get some info out from my son kung bakit biglang ayaw na nya mag school :-(

 malayo nga sis. nasa toddler class kasi ang anak ko doon 10:30 ang class nila. mas malapit nga sayo sis ang sa may SM North Area.

^^kung wala ka sis makuhang info at hindi encouraging yun teacher na matulungan makapag-adjust ang anak mo, for me magandang decision yun ilipat ng school. Ayun nga lang sana maiprocess itong mabuti kasi baka ang tumatak sa kanya kapag may hindi sya magustuhan pwedeng-pwede na lilipat na lang ulit.

Maganda rin move mo na ipa-sched sa devt ped kasi baka nga may nangyari para mairelease ng anak mo yun fear nya.

Nangyari yan sa anak ko 2 years ago, nilipat ko rin sya from a school sa BGC to a school in makati. Since puros anak ng expats classmates nya outcast sya, hindi rin ganun kaganda naging paghandle nun head teacher. (Side kwento, d ako nahirapan ipotty train anak ko. Usap lang kami na kapag 4yo na sya wala ng diaper sa gabi) pero nun night na yun nagka-nightmare sya at umihi sa bed. Tawag ako agad sa pedia para magpakonsulta. Sign kasi ng trauma yun. Nalaman namin na may nangyari sa klase. Sya inaway pero sya ang pinagsabihan ng teacher. Husband ko pa ang pinag-sign ng incident report na may ginawa anak ko. Napaka negative ng paghandle nun teacher.

Dun ko narealize na d kumut mahal ang tuition at ok ang facilities e ok na ang school.

Nung lumipat anak ko ng school, puros magaganda ang kwento nya tungkol sa kaklase nya at teachers.

Kaya kung pansin mo na hindi maganda paghandle ng teacher sa situation, best nga yata na ipullout ang bata.

Edited to add: kaka-4yo lang nya nun nangyari ito at hindi 1st yr pumasok sa school, baka kasi mas bata ang anak mo sis kaya baka hindi rin akma yun naging experience ng anak ko.

@ lenieliam: i agree din sis na ilipat mo na lang kesa madagdagan trauma ng baby mo sa school. His teachers should be open to the parents kaso sa sagot ng teacher sa yo parang di nya nasusubaybayan son mo. Sa daughter ko kasi kinausap ako agad ng teacher nung nakita nya na nagdugo lips ng daughter ko (chapped kasi) pero sabi nya tinanong nya daughter ko wala naman daw tumama sa kanya but i felt the teacher's concern. Meron din isang student hinintay talaga ng teacher dumating yung lola ng bata to tell her na natumba yung bata during class. They should be open with the parents kasi you entrust your kids with them e. Anyway, if you're in valenzuela area, maraming schools na malapit. You can try gingerbread house in congressional ave (they have mandarin class too) or schools in west triangle area na madalas mabanggit dito sa thread. Alam ko marami pang iba if you back read. Maraming nagpost ng schools with feedback na and price and details. Good luck sis.

hello mga sis, share ko lang -- my daughter just got accepted sa PAUW UP-CCC.  yey!!  hindi naman siya nag-test or anything.  we just submitted her application form last Feb 8.  Teacher Car called us last Monday to tell us about the good news .

any suggestion or me alam po ba kayo any playcamp or school na accepting students padin?

my son is 3.5 and lately showing a lot of interest sa school gusto ko sana sya pumasok na kaso I dont know where. We're in fairview Quezon City.

@charmedwitch,  probably play camp school na lang pwedeng mag-accept since it's been more than a month since classes started.  You might want to try MSA playschool in SM Fairview.  Will ask with MSA Pre-school later if they still can still accept late enrollees.

@sweetsweet,  yup my son goes to MSA, nursery level.  My eldest daughter came from MSA too.  She's now studying in UPIS.  Thanks to MSA!

@ everythingnice: last summer it was 7k+ for 1 month playcamp.... but if you want to try sa school mismo (sa loob ng teresa heights) i can give you the numbers so u can talk to the school head teacher Anna for what level po ba ang kid mo sis?

@sachism I see,  Suggest ko sana Cambridge School kala ko kasi near Commonwealth ka lang. 

@sweetsweet, I'm not sure if I'll be able to attend on Friday since di ako nakapag-file ng leave.  Baka si hubby na lang makakapunta.  Monday kasi original schedule so kahapon ako naka-leave.   Baka mag-halfday na lang ako if ever.  Anyway,  Good luck for the veggie costume contest!   

@everythingnice, how old is your kid?  For nursery level nasa 61K tuition fee sa MSA.
