cherrys: nakapag trial ako sa wisdom (prior to confirming mss, pero after nga nun pinapa trial ako ulit ni directress hehe), di ko nagustuhan dahil angliit anggulo ng room, and yung teacher anglaking babae parang lalake tapos pati boses panglalake, di preschool appropriate.
With Mss naman, ang turn off yung dami ng students , tapos 2 teachers (plus 1 chi teacher pero lumalabas din after her lessons) with yaya. sa level ng anak ko (2.6-3.2) max of 15 kids per class, nadadamihan ako, but their tuition uniformed and the same in all levels.
have you tried apples ? facilities are same ,mas nagandahan pa ko sa apples,mas konti students, mas lower tuition, at mas madali maghatid not congested. wala lang ako balita sa lessons.

Ah. I see. Medyo hindi ako impressed sa phone call ko actually. So far sa kindermusik lang ako naimpress so far.

^^Mai Ganun ba?  Kasi from what I understand, they have a total of 3 teachers, kasama na dun yung Chinese teacher na lumalabas nga after the lesson then may one yaya din per class, so total of 4 adults.  18 students lang max per class.  Parang nalito naman ako.  Baka you mean overall students per level?  Kasi di ba 3 schedules sila per level?  Kasi parang di kasya yung 30+ per class in one time, ang liit ng classroom nila eh.

^ah yes 3 teachers sila, yung isa dun chinese teacher na lumalabas na after ng lesson, ang andun lang all through out yung 2 english teachers and 1 yaya, magulo ata pagkaka type ko nung una.
per class yung max na post ko about number of students.
yung isa pamangkin ko cocoon class (he is 4.5y), nasa 18 sila sa class, yung umaabot ng 20+ yung sa butterfly 1 class lang yun mga ages 5+ na, the oldest kids na nandun.

^Cocoon class yun, since that's where my twins would be if ever I'd enroll them there.  Naku!  Ang dami naman nun, siksikan na yun.  I'll also ask again before we decide, kasi di ganun yung pagexplain sa akin ni Ms. Beth.

mga sis kabado kasi ako kasi hindi pa nagsasalita anak ko ng straight pero he knows numbers, alphabet and shapes na. he's 3.4 years old and want him sana try un summer camp ng TGP pero sabi ng nakausap ko need assessment pa...meron ba idea what gonna do pag sit in and ano ba process ng assessment?

went to TGP kanina with my son..natuwa naman hehe

decided na talaga ako na dun sya mag Summer class..nag enjoy naman anak ko.

ibang klase yun mga teacher parang play mates lang ng mga bata pero they are able to make them follow what they want.

summer class is 3500 reservation 1000.

2slots na lang daw ang available for 3s and 4s kaso hindi ko pa sure if enroll ko rasheed sa 2011 and 2012 school year...after summer class saka nalang ako mag decided.

super like si teacher tessa and Grandma (their Directress-tinawag ni rasheed na grandma).

I was able to visit LINKS kanina

1. Hindi ako nahirapan sa parking which is nice or baka kasi 3:30 ako nagpunta at normally madali ang parking pag gantong time. Ang maganda dito hindi sya sa crowded street kung saan maraming dumadaan na say sasakyan tulad sa Raya na nahirapan ako magpark at talagang mas busy ang street unlike sa LINKS.

2. OK naman ang bati ng guard at ng mga Kuyas doon. May nagassist sa akin papasok papunta sa admin.

3. Maayos din kausap yung taga admin. Nasagot naman nya mga tanong ko. Pero napansin ko din pag sa admin, by the book sila. Mas hindi nila alam na pwede naman pala mag adjust ng ibang rules nila or baka hindi lang sya updated? Buti lumabas yung toddler teacher. I like her, she looked and sounded smart na tipong she knew what she was saying. She was able to answer my questions and yung mga concerns ko naaddress. For example:
     a. Pwede ba magsit in before the assessment
         - NO kay Admin. YES kay teacher
     b. Pwede ba 3x a week instead na M-F?
         - NO kay Admin, "We can make arragements" kay teacher.
   
Ganto din napansin ko sa Raya, mas hindi "knowledgeable" ang mga nasa Admin. Para sa kanila NO pero para sa teacher pwede.

4. Since doon sa BRIDGES yung Admin, uwian na ng mga special kids nung matapos discussion namin. I noticed na strict din sila sa security sa pagpick up ng mga kids. Isa isa talaga at may naghahatid na Kuya (kahit may aksama pang yaya ang bata) sa sasakyan or sundo. Hindi pwede lumabas na walang kasamang Kuya.

So I ended up filling out the form kasi interested ako to do trial classes. They will inform me of the schedule. By that time ko na rin plan mag pa tour sa school compound.

So far OK pa sa akin ang LINKS, though first visit ko pa lang. I will share more feedback pag nakatapos na kami ng mga trial classes, etc.

Hindi ko natanong kung saan graduate ang mga teachers. Nakakaoffend ba pag itanong ko ito? Or dapat nasa brochure or site (na hindi ko makita) nila?

Interested lang kasi ako malaman.

sis charmedwitch no worries naman sa assessment sis. hindi naman siya formal exam type na duduguin sa ilong ang bata. hehe. 

tingin ko ina-assess lang kung saan level ilalagay ang anak mo. like with my son, he'll be 4.5yo na by june kasi january 2008 siya pinanganak, so dapat nasa 4s and 5s na siya. pero sa 3s and 4s siya nilagay kasi nung kinakausap ni teacher tessa naku hindi man lang sininok ng sagot!

dedma kung dedma at dinadaan sa ngiti si teacher! eh praktisado naman sa amin ang mga isasagot sa 'what's your name', 'how old are you', etc. ewan ko ba... namimili ng kakausapin ang anak ko. may times na total strangers would talk to him at kinukwento niya buong weeklong activities nya. pero itong kelangan pa-impressan eh hindi kinibo. 1st time schooler ang anak ko kaya okay na din na slow but sure ang pagpasok nya sa school. ie-enroll pa nga namin sa summer preschool para maka-adjust.

aside sa 'mini interview', dinala ni teacher tessa ang anak ko sa playground. tiningnan din ang motor skills sa balance beam at fireman's pole.

so no worries sis about the assessment sis. nung nagpa-reserve kami, two slots left na nga lang sa pm class ng 3s and 4s. puno na daw yung morning session. pero hindi pa kami nagpa-reserve for the summer preschool, siguro pag punta na lang namin dun for trial class sa friday.

Ah, di pa pala kayo enrolled or plan lumipat?  Hirap nga din magdecide eh.  Where's you're other options?

Cherrys: yung dami kase ng students ang skeptical ako, quiet pa naman ang anak ko, hindi magulo or makulit(sa bahay lang), for sure kase ang mga teachers dun magfofocus sa mga makulit at magulo hehe Di pa ko nagrereserve for Cocoons.
I initially wanted Kinderminds (pre-mss) dun sa n.Ramirez corner d.tuazon, i was i initially impressed sa teachers na nakausap ko, they do montessori and MI type of teaching, incorporated and eatng, dressing up and washing hands frequently,Oc nga sila dito kaya plus points sa akin, however when i went for a trial, dun ako umayaw, facilities are way below MSS,and even wisdom light, tapos ang init ng a/c , my little girl and I literally sweating the entire time, kaya fall back ko 
MSS. i want to go back this summer sa kinderminds baka naman umayos ayos na a/c facility nila.
I'm also scouting in new manila areas.

OT:Btw, i dunno if you still remember, i once bought some cosmetics from you years ago, husband ko pina pick uo ko, na remember ko handle mo bec we live in the same street.

^Yup!  I do remember you.  Kaya din I asked you about MSS, at least kilala ko yung may feedback.    You're around these area ba?  Kami naman wala na sa may Araneta.

I've heard of Kinderminds din but haven't seen it myself.  Tuition ba niya is almost similar with MSS din?  My twins naman are already in Cambridge since last year.  Yun nga lang talagang di na ok sa Cambridge these days, lessons and facilities na rin.  Iba na kasi mga teachers, and kulang din talaga.  Imagine 1 teacher with 12 students.  What really turn me off is seeing the yaya (school yaya) sitting down with the kids and guiding them with their seatwork.  Kasi nga busy yung teacher with the other kids, di kaya matutukan lahat ng sabay.  I mean I'm not paying P80k a year for a yaya to "teach" my kids!!  And naging madumi na rin tuloy yung school, especially the toilet, kasi nga busy yung mga yayas sa pag-assist sa teachers, wala ding mga renovations.  Yun naman yung reason na naimpressed ako sa MSS.  The school still looks new kahit na matagal na sila.  Every year kasi may renovations daw  sila, plus hindi tipid sa personnels and materials.  Di naman malayo tuition nila with Cambridge.

last school year , kinderminds nasa 65-68k,  while MSS 85k. I still live in the same street , sa other side Lang kami near the church.
