Mga mommies, meron ba dito nakaexperienced na maoperahan ng Hernia ang baby? Please share your experience. Natatakot ako kc suspect ko meron nito ang baby boy ko. Papacheck-up ko pa lang sya.

My son had Hernia and he undergone surgery mabilis [textspeak!] sya wala png 1 hour tapos na then band aid [textspeak!] nilagay ng surgeon un nga [textspeak!] gen anesthesia... Try to check Dr. Gaston at TMC, recommended sya magaling na mabait pa.

I pray that your baby is well and has no hernia.  But if he has one, be assured that the surgery is fairly safe procedure.  My baby girl had bilateral inguinal hernia and underwent surgery when she was three months old. It's usually an out-patient procedure but since my daughter was a premie whose birthweight was only 1kg, her pedia had her confined for two days.  She's turning 2 this year and is doing really well.

By the way, she had her surgery at PCMC under pedia-surgeon Dr. Alvin Caballes.

mga sis, my brother has hernia when he was a baby and the doctor suggested operation. when one of my neighbor heard about it she suggested a certain leaf then put the leaf on top of a candle just to make it a bit warm she put a bit of manzanilla oil that you can buy in sari-sari store then the next morning balik sa normal na yung scrotum ni brother.

Hi everyone, good morning. I came across this thread while researching about hernias and I cannot create a new topic. My 5months old baby was diagnosed with hernia sa right side. According to his doctors the only option to fix is thru surgery talaga, and iniiwasan kasi yung emergency surgery dahil pag di daw naalis, sobrang sakit nun kay baby.

Ask ko lang sana how much cost of the surgery? and how was the recovery period of your baby? I'm concerned kasi baka painful kay baby. Thanks so much and I hope may sumagot
