Hi, my OB recommended to us na magundergo ng CAS. Just want to ask if how much currently ang rate ng Medical City for this?

cas nila something 2500 na ata di ko mahanap receipt ko, i just gave birth last october 2018 nasa more or less 100k yung hospital bill ko kaso di pa dun kasama pf Ko. nasa 180k meron ob anes endo and pedia, me difference sila pag sunday. saka ecs pala ako and GDM ako

^Congrats sis!! Actually, no idea kung anong questions ba dapat itanong ko hehe sorry. EDD ko is March 2020.

Ay meron pala konti:

- Do they allow the daddy inside the labor room?
- I'm also planning delayed cord cutting, would you know if they allow this?
- Do they allow skin to skin?

Hello! To answer your questions:

1. When I was in the labor room, I requested for my husband and he was allowed naman to be with me. My hubby told me that there were only 2 patients (including me) at that time. Tingin ko, that might be the reason why they allowed him.

2. I think pwede but you have to make that arrangement with your doctor.

3. Yes! Pagkalabas ni baby and once nacheck and nalinis na sya ng doctors, ibibigay na sya agad sayo to latch.

No harm in asking questions this early, better if prepared. 😊

Nag tour ka ba ng mga rooms -- where you will be admitted, labor room, recovery room etc? May nababasa kase ako na yung iba nag t-tour just to check and para alam na where to go when the time comes. TIA!

^Familiar naman kami sa rooms ng TMC kaya no need for us to check (from Standard A to Deluxe). Nacurious lang ako about sa Baby Friendly ward kaya yun lang ang tiningnan namin. Meanwhile, I didn?t bother to check the labor and recovery room, kasi naisip ko bawal yun dahil may patients.

Regarding naman kung saan ka pupunta, your OB will advise you na sa 5th floor na dumiretso when the time comes.

Let me know if may questions ka sa rooms, I?d love to chat! hehe, tagal ng ML ko, minsan I have no one to talk to pag kaming dalawa lang ni baby naiiwan sa bahay. 😂

Pang3rd baby ko na po, lumipat na kasi kmi ng bahay kaya malayo na sa dating hospital ko.

^Hi sis, hindi pa ako nakapag tanong ng maternity packages in TMC but I'll recommend my OB nalang muna -- Dra. Edeliza Elvambuena-Amorin. She's an OB Perinatologist and Sonologist din. Nag du-duty din siya sa women's center in TMC Ortigas and she will personally do your ultrasounds.

For some of you who is looking for an OB GYN Perinatologist ( High Risk 35 and above age)
at The Medical City, Please DO NOT CHOOSE DRA.  ROSARIO CHENG, she is very incompetent and doesn't care for you.  I had a recent bad experience from her and I hope this doesnt happen to anyone.   Take care ladies.

Sis, any recommendation for Perinatologist?
