i gave birth at medical city last Dec 2015 via normal delivery. my ob was dra. perona. I'm an ofw and i was only under her for the last 6 weeks before i delivered but i can recommend her she was very good and was still able to do a normal delivery for me kahit nag coil cord ang baby ko towards the end. all the staff/nurses there were nice and helpful during my labor and delivery and till we checked out. it was a package i availed sa ward nila for a total of 63k all in. nagdown lang ako ng 20k when i got admitted. we were there in the hospital for 3 days we checked out after lunch on the 3rd day. for those on a budget i can recommend the ward in medical city kc secluded siya with sliding door kaya para na rin syang private room though communal ang toilet. there were like 6 wards sa isang room nila.

^ I agree with this. Nice ang ward nila. Sa ward lang din ako nag stay when I gave birth pero parang mini private room na sya.

Pinaka gusto ko sa Medical city is the customer service, feeling ko alagang alaga ako and yung baby ko. (5 yrs old na anak ko ngayon and sa Medical city din pedia nya.)

Ask ko lang. TTC na kami for a year. Then suddenly no mens na ako last January. My last mens was December 3rd week (mga nasa Dec 23-24 start) after that till now wala na. Took several PT puro negative. I'm so worried na sana hindi ako menopause diba..i'm like 36 this year. hindi naman siguro..

It's more than 2 months na ako wala mens and 2 weeks ago negative PT ko. Went to the doctor Thursday last week and she gave me Duphaston..sabi nya pang pakapit or pang pa regla.. I'm on my 6th tablet today..wala pa rin mens..

May pagasa pa kaya ako magka baby? sobrang tagal na walang mens..mag 3 months na..

so nerve wracking.

^ sis, nagpaultrasound ka sa ob? I think malalaman sa ultrasound bakit wala pa din period until now.

Usually 1 month to 2 months ng no period, malalaman na kung preggy.

Hi, I'm looking to transfer OBs to either one of the below from The Medical City, does any one have current/ recent feedback on them?

1. Dr. Cecilia Vicencio
2. Dr. Geraldine Severino

My old OB is Dr. Agatonica Arcales but we want to transfer already to someone else because she ordered a lot of tests on me which my doctor-relative said seems is way too early (ex. pinagawa nya 6 weeks palang ko when it would have been relevant to do it Week 20-24 pa) plus she is also not engaging, isang tanong isang sagot na mabilisan, sabi nga ni hubby parang quantity over quality sa patients sya.    So takot kami na she's taking advantage of us (pineperahan) while we still go to her since they have commissions daw for every lab test ordered. My last visit I had to do 11 different tests! I'm really hoping to find a better OB who I can be more comfortable with until delivery.

^hi sis! maganda feedback ng ibang sis kay Dra Vicencio. Sya ang OB ko ngayon. So far, okay naman. Alam ko sya ang Head sya ng OB department.

Naku sis wala.. I don't think pwede humiga dun sa waiting area sa labas. he can only sit there and wait. or sandal-tulog type.

ward ka na lang while waiting for labor. tapos patransfer ka sa private room upon recovery. room in din si baby. tapos at least comfortable for you, your baby and your husband.

^pero sis yung pf ni ob depende yun sa pinakamataas na room rate na nakuha mo ah. so kung initially nagward ka then lipat sa private room. pf ni ob kukunin niya dun sa private room na rate. not sa ward

yes correct yan sis. pero kawawa naman si husband pag hindi siya kasama sa room pero at least dun sa mga medical expenses incurred habang nasa ward ka pa, baka cheaper. but yes, correct on the pf..

hello po, tanong ko lang kung may idea kayo how much po manganak dito sa TMC. first baby naming and due ko next year MAY 2018.

Update: I switched to Dra Cecilia Vicencio She is much better mas engaging and mas nageexplain why. She also did not order unnecessary tests for me.

Also sharing: Unfortunately i had to go back once to Agatonica Arcales for tvs since sya yung nakaduty that time. Once she found out i switched to Dra. Vicencio who is their dept chair, she refused to answer some of my questions abt the scan and said si Dra. Vicencio nalang sumagot (may ganon?). Sobrang kebs padin nya walang emotions at all and minadali lang nya kami. She did not even discuss if the heartbeat was normal, etc. And she didnt even show me the screen while poking me all over, last 10 secs lang nya hinarap kasi my hubby came in and yun pala active si baby. Then after she just stood up and left without a word. Ang b**** nya ha. Ang pangit pa ng pics namin compared to when we got scanned by another doc Dr. Donna Castillo. Kay Arcales blurry and it looks like she didnt take the time to get a good angle before clicking. Kaya pala walang tao gaano that day sa ultrasound e nung kay Dra. Donna kami natapat 3.5 hrs kami nagwait in line, and our shots there were super clear.
Im so glad pinalitan ko na sya!! Now i know why konti lang pasyente nya.

^that is one reason why I always make sure my OB is also a Sonologist, ayaw kong iba ang nagpeperform ng TVS sa akin, iba iba kasi interpretation nila eh, tsaka I want to get the first hand info directly from my OB kaya OB/Sonologist at least lagi ang OB ko ;-)

Hi. New to this. Anyone here who knows a decent perinatologist from Medical City? I had the worst experience ever with this Dra Rosario Castillo Cheng. Super sama ng ugali. Never met any doctor like her. Grabe.

@bluish_mommy OB sonologist sila pareho but ever since Dra. Vicencio became OB dept chair wala na sya time to do scans daw. Which I understand though. Yung pinalitan ko, feeling ko attitude lang talaga nya ganon

Hello mga Mommies! New on this thread. Ask ko lang sana who has tried Dra. Quiroga before. Parang wala kasi ako nababasa. Pero so far ok naman siya for me and mabait siya.

And, by the way, does anyone know ano na rate ng CS Package nila this 2018?
