Hello. First time to post here.  Plan namin na kunin yung package sa TMC, though we want to know the price range din in case di namin kukunin yung package. Anyone who gave birth recently? Yung mas recent pa kay @sweetscience. Been backreading the threads, wala pa kasi e. Tsaka coconfirm ko lang kung allowed ba talaga si husband na kasama paglabor na or delivery. TIA!

^sis, I gave birth via NSD at TMC last November 2012 and total bill was around 112k. Hindi siya package. Baka outdated na rin yan.

As to your other question Kung allowed inside the delivery room si hubby, yes they allow it na just pay for the scrubs hubby will need to wear. Pero in my case though, Ayaw ni OB sumama hubby  sa delivery room.  He was able to see me sa labor room lang. So maybe ask your OB Kung payag siya.

^Thanks nikki!  sana pumayag si OB, although i trust her din naman na di ako pababayaan pero feeling ko mas mapapadali pag nandun si hubby to support.

^agree sis that we should trust our OB. On hindsight though, I realized it was better that hubby wasn't with me when I delivered our first baby. If he were there, Baka na-CS ako seeing me go through the difficulty that time.  I tried pushing on my on pero Ayaw lumabas, so they did this fundal pressure na sobrang na kaka-trauma Sakin. Hindi ako makahinga talaga and I wanted to give up na.  If hubby were there, he would have insisted mag-CS na ko.  Baby was cord coiled sa neck and feet pero nailabas pa rin namin via NSD. Ang galing Lang ng Ob ko hehe, no regrets. My anesthesiologist took the pics, ok naman mga kuha niya and he helped me calmed down too when I was about to go hysterical lol.

I give birth on March 10 (Monday) at TMC via CS. Nasa 180K ang binayaran namin all in all na yan. Hindi ako nakapackage kasi we got a small private room. This is my 3rd CS and so far ok naman lahat. I trusted my OB so much and I am very thankful for her dahil smooth lang lahat. My baby is 9.5 lbs.

Sis nikki, wow! Ang galing ng ob mo, her team and ang galing mo rin! Parang ang sakit kahit inimagine ko palang nung ginawa sayong pressure. If you dont mind who's your ob? Mine is dra fuentes kasi. Ever since sakanya na ako nagpacheck up dahil dami ko narinig na pupush talaga nyang normal delivery.
im contemplating tuloy if better na kasama si hubby pag nanganganak or hintay nalang sya para sa pagcut ng cord. Hehe.

Sis Cheesecak3 congrats on your new baby! may mga deductions na ng philhealth and whatnots? Hmm. Dapat pala kaming magprepare ng 100k+++ if gusto namin magupgrade into a private room. Or in case na hindi available yung package. Thanks sis! Atleast may idea na rin ako kung magkano.

^Yes less philhealth na yan. Kung kukuha ka ng package dapat mainform mo na early ang OB mo kasi iba ang package rate. If ever normal delivery ka naman mas mura yon pero kung scheduled CS ka naman sasabihin na rin sayo ng OB mo kung magkano dapat ang iprepare nyo.

^Standard Room A ang kinuha namin, yong walang ref, fully booked kasi ang may ref nong nag check in kami.
My OB is Dra. Rivera.

I will check the receipts sis for the breakdown muna sis.

Any Ob/gyne recommended along cainta and marikina? and how much for the consultation fee... ayoko kasing bumalik sa dati kong ob.. para kasing ako lang ata ang pasyente niyang single and got this creepy looks from her other patients so..yun help me please mga pretty sis!

Sis Nikki, I gave birth sa TMC last March 7. My OB is Dr. Rivera. I know the feeling na ipu-push ng resident/fellow niya yung tummy para bumaba si baby. Super sakit, hirap huminga. Ang tagal ko din nag push. Sa tagal ko, may patient si Doc na pinasok sa kabilang delivery room after ko, nauna pa yun nanganak sa kin. So yung team pumunta sa kabila then bumalik na lang sa akin afterwards. But seeing our baby afterwards is worth all the pain.

Anyone who recently give birth at TMC? I am due this month and I'm wondering kung magkano na kaya estimate NSD/CS ngayon. I already have the updated room rates pero hindi ko pa natatanong si OB for her PF. Ang natanong lang namin is kung pwede si Hubby inside the delivery room. Yes daw, with a minimal fee for the scrub suit and only photos are allowed, no taking of videos. That is fine with us. As long as my hubby is there to help me push! 

I need to ask her din if pwede si hubby sa labor room, para hindi ako mainip.  Will update here next week.

Hi Mommies! Meron ba sainyo naging OB si Dra Nenita Cotas?

She was my mom's ob kase and nirerefer nya saken kase sya daw nagalaga kay mom nung preggy sya saken. Hehe.
Ask lang sana ako ng feedback if meron pang naging under nya.

Btw, how much po ang normal consultation fee sa tmc?

Hi! Pa join po..

OB ko is Dra. Judy Ong Fuentes. Going 36 weeks na po ako, and first baby.
If ever sa Medical City na din ako manganganak eh. Aiming for NSD Deliver Package.
Si ob naman nagsuggest nung Package pero kumuha na din kami ng estimate if ever hindi kaya sa package kasi one shot lang ng epidural yung kasama sa package.

Then, may baby-friendly ward sila. Maganda naman nung tiningnan namin. Parang room na din maliit nga lang. Panel wall yung division nila sa ward, hindi curtains kaya maganda. 

Post ko yung estimate next time pag nakita ko yung quotation ng birthing pag hindi package.

Same tayo ng OB and I plan rin na sa Medical City manganak. I'm thinking na package kunin namin para makatipid sana pero wait ko estimate mo if hindi package para mapagisipan namin ni hubby mabuti kung magpackage kami or hindi hehe.
