lucky you for having that OB... kasi yung OB namin, tita ni hubby so we were expecting na papayagan niya si hubby to be there sa delivery room. pero ang sabi niya, strict daw sila sa policy na walang outsiders sa labor room or delivery room to avoid infections. kung gusto daw namin mag-lamaze or birthing suite daw kami. so sad nga eh, kahit sinabi kong may iba akong "kakilala" (mula dito sa forum) na nanganak na nasa loob si hubby, wala daw ganun kahit saang hospital. ipagpilitan daw bang lamaze or bs yun. haaay, kaasar!

due ko is on january. around magkano kaya ang magagastos? kailangan din naming maging ready sa magiging condition ni baby paglabas. A- si hubby and O+ naman ako... so we'll be watching out for complications due to ABO incompatibility at RH factor.

im just starting my research on delivery packages, ang mahal pala manganak! quick question though..
nag-aaccept ba tmc ng credit cards? kasi di ba bills go up to 100k+, do we have to bring that amount in cold cash upon bills settlement? tia!

^Gave birth at the TMC last Sept. 29, Lamaze room ang kinuha namin since gusto ni hubby kasama siya. Our bill was 150k (70k pf OB,Pedia and Anes) the rest sa delivery ko na. (use of Lamaze room, NICU for baby, Room and Board) btw, iba ang fee ni baby kay mommy ah. Tapos kapag room in si baby may charges din, I think half of the room charge kay baby.

my bill amounted to 190k plus, tagal ko sa lamaze room, almost 48 hours, tapos ending CS din ako hehe

Sis, normal ka ba? How many days did you stay sa hospital and what type of room yung kinuha mo? Sorry daming questions. The last time i gave birth kasi was 5 yrs ago pa and inabot ako ng 120k and i also used the lamaze room, stayed at standard room for 3 nights, roomed in din si baby but i had blood transfusion pa. Looks like we have to prepare pa kasi ang mahal na pala ngayon eh si march pa ako manganganak.

yup all in na, 5 days sa room (the one cheaper than deluxe wala na kase available na deluxe that time), yun 190k+ combined bill na namin ni baby

Yes they accept credit cards, yung 70K something na part ng bill ko binayaran ng MIL ko thru her card

sofa lang sis ang para sa bantay, medyo mahaba naman, tapos may charge na 400 pesos yun scrub suit na gagamitin ng bantay mo, my ob is the head of the ob-gyne dept ng tmc, if i remember it right, 50k+ di ko na kase binusisi details ng bill ko haha. ang natandaan ko, mas mahal pa charge ng lamaze room kesa pf ng ob ko, nasa 65k ata lamaze room charges ko, ginawa ko kaseng hotel, 36 hours ako dun LOL!

yes sis NSD, Stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, I think deluxe room ata siya basta ang rate niya Php 3,300/day.

I paid 200k for cs delivery private room deluxe A.. All in na.. The 2750 a day na room., ang mahal, buti ka pa sis naka lamaze room ka na for that amount..

Sa Standard Room A (yung merong ref) kami nag-stay for 3 days. Parang bench lang yung tulugan ni hubby pero ok lang naman daw sa kanya.

Downpayment: 20k agad ang sinabi kay hubby

Prof Fees:
28k - OB
15k - Anaes
5k - Pedia

Binayaran namin in cash yung PF para hindi na madagdagan ng 12% vat sa billing.

Hospital bills namin less philhealth ni hubby 50k, we used our citibank cc and availed of the paylite.

Total Damage sa wallet : 98k

hi sisses! i'm on my 27th week tomorrow and torn pa rin ako to give birth in TMC or sa hospital sa may marikina. practicality side of me, syempre sa cheaper hospital pero super gusto ko talaga sa TMC. we need to decide by end of the month kung saan ba talaga and si OB di rin accredited sa TMC so if ever dito ako manganak, have to change OB pa. hingi lang sana ako ng latest birth expense lalo na sa mga recent lang nanganak for NSD and CS and kung nag-avail kayo ng birthing package or not. maarte lang kasi si hubby gusto nya private room. naalala ko kasi cousin ko, sa birthing ward sya nagstay ok naman. 1st baby kasi namin and even si [textspeak!] gusto nya sa "high-end" na hospital. nanghihinayang lang kasi din ako sa gastos....kaloka! :p

If everyone supports you to give birth in tmc i highly recommend it, you get what you have paid for im sure sure'll be treated well.

If only the money i have prepared for this pregnancy wasnt used up for another expenditure & if my in-laws have not got into the way of choosing where Im going to give birth, I have chosen TMC 101%
