^^ yes sis pwede naman pero may charge rin naman yata  kasi yung pag stay sa labor room. Dapat kasi dadalhin na ako sa delivery room pero i told the nurse na sa lamaze room ako manganganak and she told me na dapat sinabi ko daw beforehand kasi napa doble gastos ko. Eh i told her na i wasnt expecting na ambilis lang pala ng labor ko kaya she asked if sure daw ba ako so i told her na kausapin niya husband ko kasi siya ang magbabayad.  kaya ayun in 15 mins nilipat agad ako sa lamaze room and nandun na si hubby. Dun na namin hinintay si OB kasi may 1 patient pa sya na nasa delivery room din.

I didnt know na yung rate pala depende sa room na kukunin mo. We're planning pa naman to get the room next to standard kasi sobrang liit daw sabi ni hubby.

Yes sis! I'm due this end of the month na. Re birthing suite it's 13k/day wala pa yung delivery fee, pf, medicines at kung ano-ano pa gagamitin. Estimate ko around 150k up magagastos.  Kung Lamaze Room mababa sa 150k magagastos kung walang complications both the mommy and baby. Again depende sa room na kukunin after delivery.

Hi, I just gave birth last August 29 in this hospital. They allowed na hubby to enter even in labor and delivery room. You just have to pay Php400 for the scrub suits every entrance. Their package is applicable only for full term pregnancies kaya di ko na-avail kasi I gave birth at 35 weeks. We availed a standard B room for Php2,500 and no fridge. Their semi-private room rate is Php1,600, not sure lang the other room rates and the lamaze room.

@Sis Milette - magkano inabot nung sayo? I hope you don't mind. Para maka pag prepare na kami I'm on my 36th week of pregnancy na. Yun din sinabi sa akin nung nurse in charge sa 5th floor Php 400 ang scrub suit and intindi ko kada pasok yun may bayad. Then depende na lang daw sa OB mo kung papayag na isama siya sa delivery room. Sino OB mo sis?

Sis cocoyow, 37 weeks and above. They have baby friendly package rate including continuous epidural.

Sis ava, yes, every pasok ni hubby 400 nga and depende sa OB if papayag sa DR. My case is pretty expensive kasi I gave birth at 35 weeks tapos baby needs to put in incubator. Delivery fee reach 65k including pf ni OB and anes. Additional fees pa for baby kasi until now nasa nicu pa siya. she has jaundice which is normal for preterm babies then they treated pa her infection which we don't know also where it came from since I don't have uti and diabetes during pregnancy. Fees of baby reach about 60k na din. My OB is dr. rama.

^^ wow sis ang mahal din nung binayaran niyo. Hope your baby is now ok. 

Parang magastos din pala if hubby will just avail the scrub suit in case labas pasok siya sa labor room. Tapos di rin ganun ka comfy kasi maliit lang talaga yung area. Lamaze room kasi maluwag with sofa and tv pa so pwede ka manood while in labor.

@sis milette, thanks for the info. Last checkup ko kasi, my OB said it's hospital policy na no husband sa LR or DR. Naku, sana naman it's not her preference cause I really want my hubby with me at least during delivery.

@sis cocoyow, I asked about reserving Lamaze or birthing suite, hindi raw Pwede unless u know exactly when u are giving birth. Kasi if someone gives birth on the same day u chose tapos wala ka naman, they will give it to that patient.

I'm here at med city and my HMO covers large private. Ok naman siya big enough for maybe 2 more visitors plus hubby and if room-in si baby.  When I get discharged, will check what room options we have pa next to large private. Will ask rates na rin and share to all.

Gusto ko talaga kasama sya. Sa first baby ko kasi ang panget ng experience ko sa feu hospital kaya talagang sinabi ko kay hubby never nako babalik sa hospital na yun.
sana lang pag nanganak nako walang manganak na kasabay ko hehe.. Due ko kasi is end of november..

Here's info I got from the delivery suite reception at 5f TMC:

Birthing Suite - approx 45k cost which includes use of BS for first 6hrs, delivery fee, surgical prep, anes, recovery, etc.  and excludes PF of OB, pedia, anesthesiologist. If u haven't delivered in 6hrs, they will charge 935/hr. after recovery if u choose to stay in the BS until u get discharged, it will be 12k/day.

Lamaze room - approx 30k cost which includes same fees above except recovery for first 6hrs, 935/hr after and excludes doctors fees. Here u can only stay until delivery afterwards u will be transferred to the recovery room.

The birthing suite has a waiting area for family/relatives which the Lamaze room doesn't have.

I also have rates for other rooms and their delivery packages. I'll post na lang if anyone's interested.. Medyo mahaba na to

^^that's weird sis, but at least consistent sa room rate per day and exclusion of PF.  Maybe the difference is the cost estimate u mentioined na 65k and sakin naman binigay kanina which is around 45k.  My understanding of the 45k cost (or 65k) is basically the use of birthing suite from labor to recovery for first 6hrs which also includes those other fees I mentioned (delivery fee, surgical preps,etc.) Baka naman the 65k is ave expected cost na based on their experience. And the 45k given to me is minimum. In fact, 40k pa nga unang sinulat sa paper

And then the 12k/day starts after recovery if u continue to use the birthing suite.

^same here sis. I really want hubby with me when I deliver our first baby but since they allow na nga husbands inside LR and DR as confirmed by the staff that showed us the suite and Lamaze room earlier, then hubby and i decided against it na. Just crossing fingers my OB will allow him to be with me kahit sa DR lang.

Btw, if I can share my opinion on the birthing suite.. It wasn't what I was expecting. It looks like an operating room with TV and hotpink/purple sofa, gold curtains/drapings and an ugly huge painting lol. Sabi nga ni hubby "so tacky.. " but even with a bigger space, it only comes with the standard size hospital bed and a sofa bed like the one in the large private I was in.  There's no "homey" feel like u are in a hotel room. Haha.. Yun kasi in-expect ko

Hubby and I are after a bigger space din in case I stay for 3 days so we might just get the executive suite that comes with the same amenities except a smaller TV but with more than half the cost less than the suite

^we have the same sentiments sis. We've checked the room rates at the admission and considering too the Executive room too. We are also after a bigger space since both of us has large families in terms of numbers ah ang hirap kumilos kung yung standard rooms lang nila. Nag pa quote din ako for the Regular LR and DR roughly aabutin ng 80k that is with the standard room ang kukunin according to my OB yan. I asked her na din kung pwd isama si hubby sa DR and "NO" ang sagot until the LR lang daw.

^ sa executive bawal si hubby sa luob ng dr no? Kung ok naman mga doctors and nurses dun sacrifice nalang ako na wala si hubby while nanganganak ako.. Panget lang talaga experience ko sa first baby ko kaya sinabi ko sa sarili ko na dapat kasama si hubby sa next baby namin. Kasi kung kasama ko sya he will never allow what happened to me, at puro interns kasi sa feu kaya never again to that hospital.. 100k plus din binayad namin parang halos same lang sa TMC..

Btw i have a question, pwede ba mag request may mag take ng photos while delivery sa TMC?
