I just inquired yesterday and they told me that for the Normal delivery procedure alone, it would cost me between 25-35k and about 10k for the nursery expenses, so that would more or less amount to 50k with the medicines na rin siguro. E since i plan to change my OB para i could give birth at med city, would 30k be the usual rate of gynecologists nowadays? I wanna try to get an estimate kasi of how much i'dbe spending nyan if i were to give birth through normal delivery without any complication for a 2 night standard room accomodation. Would any of you have an idea? Tia!

20k-30k standard pf.  medyo sinagad nga sa akin, almost 30k na.  no discount and hindi rin ako humingi ng discount.

sis 40k lang PF na quote sakin ni doc, sa 3 doctors na daw yun.. pero sabi nya nsa mga 95k daw aabutin ko sa hospital bills.. yung ginawa nyo ba sis nung nagpa admit ka sa lamaze na agad or sa private room muna tas lipat na sa lamaze during the labor tas after delivery lipat na uli sa private room? kung pwede kasi yung ganun baka mas makamura pa kami.. thanks sis

I gave birth at The Medical City November 2009. Total bill almost 150k. Nag shoot up bill since, I was at the labor room for more than 24hours but in the end na CS din ako. I had eclampsia and ruptured placenta and baby was pre-term so many complications.

Will give birth here again on January, scheduled CS and my OB quoted me 70k all-in.

hi everyone  I'm  new here..Guy's some advice's and suggestion regarding Ob-gyne doctors in The Medical City.. Plan ko kc mgpa checkup this month but I don't have any idea with their doctors.. I want to know more about my condition having an irregular menstruation...Gusto ko po sana un magaling n OB gyne doctor and at the same time un mabait and comfortable with....Some advice nman po sino po kaya good ob-gyne Dr. from The Medical City (SM Fairview) ?? thanks.....looking forward to your suggestions  TY

my Ob Gyne is Dra. Susan Lazaga, Tuesday /wednesday and Saturday yata siya..mahal manganak dito naka 205thousand kami..CS naman ako..pre eclampsia kasi ako..pero okay dito..nag ba-base sa kukunin mong room ang PF ng OB.yung sakin kasi yung may ref,saka malaki yung room.3 days 70 thousand yung room,110 yung PF di ko na maalala yung ibang bill kasama Anesthesiologist pero si baby nasa nursery rin ng 2 days kaya may another 20 thousand na bill siya..at kung taga Pasig City kayo magdala kayo ng proof of billing na taga Pasig kayo kasi may discount..naka less kami 5 thousand eh..hanggang ngayon mag 1 year na dumaan nagbibigay pa rin discount sa PasigueÑos kasi kaka confine lang ng asawa ko na dengue siya naka discount ulit kami..if ever na mabuntis uli ako dito pa rin ako sa Medical City..feeking ko safe na safe ako dito

i gave birth here sa Medical City last 2010.  My total bill is 93k, less na ang Philhealth and the Pasig residents discount. So all in nasa 120k yung bill ko.  Nakalimutan ko na yung breakdown ng hospital fees but for the prof fees are the ff:

OB - 25k - 28k - referred last minute ni previous OB kasi si previous OB namatay ang dad sa province at need siya umuwi nung 2 days before my due date. Pero si orig OB nasa ganun rin ang PF.
Asst OB - 5k
Anes - 13k
Pedia - 6k - kakilala ng parents ko kaya mababa ang prof fee.

My baby's bill is around 16-18k. I feel so safe rin here sa Medical City.

^ sya yung OB ko dati sis. feedback ko:
good:
1. pipilitin ka nyang ma-normal delivery so monitor nya ang diet mo pati paglaki ng baby
2. may sariling ultrasound machine sa clinic nya (in my womb glorietta kami) tapos 500 lang pf nya kasama na ultrasound per check up
3. magaan kausap so di ako nahihiyang magtanong ng kung ano sa kanya
4. pwede itext

bad:
1. suuuuuuuper daming pasyente. pag napadulo ang number mo (ipaschedule mo days or weeks before if 1st checkup), aabutin ka ng siyam-siyam kakahintay

kung tama tanda ko, 12k ang pf nya. sa TMC ward lang kasi ako.

 Mas mahal n pla checkup nya ngayon 500 consultation plus 1200 for ultrasound. Grabe inaabot nga kmi ng 10pm worst pa kapag may checkup minsan naiinis na si hubby ko kc dapat daw nagrest na ko kaso nga madalas may pinapaanak sya kaya late. Yung nga lang sis may sarili kc sya ultrasound kaya mas convenient eh if magtransfer naman kmi s medical city 2500 ang ultrasound.

Sis kelan ka nanganak s medical city? She quoted us 100-120k pag cs pero from what you said pwede naman pla magward para mas tipid since sabi ko nga kay hubby need namin maging praktical din after ilabas si baby gusto ko complete sya ng lahat ng vaccine.

^ sis, regular consultation lang ba yun or talagang may scheduled ultrasound ka (yung may prints)? dati on top ang bayad if "required" talaga yung ultrasound (ex: confirmation of pregnancy, CAS). bibigyan ka ng print. pag regular consult naman, di ka bibigyan ng print pero makikita mo pa din ang baby sa ultrasound.

2009 pa ako nanganak doon sis. package din kasi kinuha ko. sa private room malamang ang binigay na quote sa inyo. pf lang ba yan or lahat na? worry ko baka tinanggal na sa tmc yung package na mura.
