Medyo nadiscourage akong bumili ng lacoste ah.. i was eyeing the daily classic medium pang work sana. Kakabili ko lang ng guess mabigat sya bag palang. My mom bought a different style and its light naman.

I just purchased my first Coach bag from Macy's kasi nagsale sila. Kaso mga bandang Feb ko pa marereceive. Im so excited!! Wiiiiii!!

I started with a Marc by Marc Jacobs hobo bag then Tory Burch crossbody, Rebecca Minkoff tote and 2 crossbodies and Michael Kors crossbody.

Hindi ko lang nagustuhan durability ng Minkoff tote bag ko, the strap may nakita na akong sira. Iyong MbMJ is the nagagamit lang as my carry-on bag when travelling abroad kasi ang bigat, masakit sa shoulders ko when I used it for work. Minkoff mini-mac tinanggal ko na ang ribbons niya nakakabwisit lang kasi while my mini-affair, naiiiklian ako sa strap. The one I loved the most is the Michael Kors, used and abused but ang tibay pa rin. Parang may bad reputation yata Michael Kors but I like mine because it suits my lifestyle.

Muntik na akong bumili kanina ng Saint Laurent bag but sa checkout bigla ako nakonsensya. Parang my mind tells me it's on sale get it now but my heart says don't get it you don't need it.

coach, kate spade, and Michael kors. I prefer kate spade of the three. unfornately, dami din fakes nitong mga to like the other well known designer bags.

First "expensive" bag I bought is from Nine West outlet in LA. Nasa $60 including tax and surprisingly, ito yung pinakamaraming compliments akong nakuha specially nung nasa US ako. Kaya lang it's synthetic leather and kakagamit ko, nag-peel na yung corners tsaka sa may zipper. So while I like their styles, I feel na maraming mas matibay na mabibili pa.

I've then bought other contemporary designer bags from Longchamp (le pliage hobo - di ko type yung tote, feeling ko maghahalukay ako ng gamit kasi ang laki/lalim), Kate Spade and Dooney & Bourke. Though I always buy lang when the items are on sale, except for D&B since bihira sila mag-sale. And I suggest Kate Spade din for beginners. Check out their official website sa sale section, if you can wait for their sale on sale events for MORE discounts, much better. Cheaper pa rin kahit if you have it shipped thru JohnnyAir.

I suggest for beginners kung everyday use ang gusto mo...buy branded bags na synthetic muna (Lacoste and Kate Spade) coz leather bags may be nice and lovely but if you'll use them for day-to-day office/work medyo madali ang tearing off nila plus you'll have to consider cleaning and conditioning creams for leather bags. Later on pwede na iconsider ang pagbili ng leather bags like MK and Coach that are not for everyday use....I hope this could help.

Not designer bags but how about Hedgren or Tumi?

I'm eyeing on these two brands for work sana. I usually carry 3kg everyday. Haha. So I need a lightweight yet durable bag with many pockets. Within 5k budget ang Hedgren. Tumi is around 20k. But I saw one in ebay at 3k, I'm really tempted to buy but don't know if authentic

^Tumi is a good designer brand known for luggage. Tumi and Rimowa have somehow close pricing for high end lines. The ebay bag is a good price if it is authentic

^^^ Hedgren is a good brand. I got a small nylon crossbody 6 years ago, paid $100 for it. Used and abused like my MICHAEL Michael Kors Susannah clutch, up to now pareho pa rin matibay ang dalawa. Recently I don't use it much and I let my mother use it when she travels. Very roomy din.
