"Designer" Bag for Beginners

For now, I just have Lacoste and RL. I would LOVE to have my own LV bag and LC! OK na 2nd hand na LV, hehe. San kaya?

Sa tingin ko nga mauuso ang second hand LV ngayon sa Pinas. May nabalitaan akong uso na ang pagi-snatch ng designer bags dito eh. So hahanap sila ng market na mapagbebentahan ng mga yun. Malamang nga sa ebay. Pero careful lang din sa pagbili, kasi baka nga hindi pala original ang mga yun.

Hi mga sis! Just bought my first designer bag! I got LV neverfull MM damier. It's made in Spain though but the quality is OK. I would love to have one made in France or Paris. I thought all LV bags are made in Paris or France. Meron lang ako ask. Ano ano ba mga kasama sa neverfull pag binili aside from the box and paper bag? TIA mga sis!

Dooney & Bourke  sa kin.. maganda ang leather niya. and mas pulido ang gawa. more than 10 years na yung isa kong ganitong bag, pero maganda pa rin. the other one mas bago pero same pa rin ang quality, really good. natalo ang lv ko na wala pang 5 years pinamigay ko na, napapangitan na kasi ako sa leather niya :p
longchamp is okay kaso ang dami nang pirated :p lol..

Girls if you need a bag for work, there are bags on sale like Liz Claiborne or Zara or Topshop.  Genuine leather bags for less than 4000.  I know 5 girls who had their LC slit open already.  Beware of the laslas gang

I used to adore Mango years back, coz I'm a fan of big bags, pero pansin ko habang tumatagal, bumaba ang quality nila, ang daling magpeel tapos yung zipper nasisira agad. Hangang hanga ako dati
sa mga brands like Mango, Nine West, LC, Tommy, RL etc. until I've found out that the materials are only synthetic leather, tapos bumaba rin ang quality so I said goodbye to them . Now I only have Coach, Michael Kors and VS bags. For VS, I only buy their big tote bags so I can use something for doggie day outs, sales or bargain hunting and overnights.

Designer bags are indeed pricier compared to signature/branded bags but they are worth the price since they are much sturdier and sure ka sa quality ng bag mo, most are even treated to be water and stain repellant so they will look new for years. Actually this is one of the reasons why I decided the switch, sulit talaga since it will take time bago maluma yung bag. Personally, I'd rather save then spend more on a designer bag kesa bumili ng something cheaper that won't last. With lower quality bags, once maluma wala ka ng magagawa but with designer and luxury bags, pwedeng ipamana

Oh, I have a Speedy 35 in Monogram. Definitely walang care card na kasama Ganun din with my NF MM Damier.

my mom has an old lv bag which has a big visible crack.. nagcacrack pala yung canvas if you're not careful with it. too bad hindi na magagamit..

sayang she didn't know that sensitive pala yung canvas.. it was lying on its side for so many years na din. she has a fendi bag of synthetic leather and genuine leather handles that im using right now, ok pa naman which was stored in the same cabinet..
