"Designer" Bag for Beginners

Liz Claiborne bags rin puwede for your budget.  I find their designs pretty and the bags are sturdy naman (I have a couple of them).  Meron rin nito sa Rustan's and boutiques in shangri-la and megamall (I think).

^yes i own several Liz claiborne bag, nagsawa ako dati kasi boring na yung style, until lately nag evolve na sila, their collection were colorful, functional, stylish - really an eye candy,. napabili na naman tuloy ako,... sabi nga ng officemate ko, parang coach ang design,..

napagi iwanan ang nine west, ang dating kinakabaliwan kong bag..

My first designer bag purchase was Ann Klein in black patent leather at 2k only back in 2003.

For 5K, get a long champ bag or if you can find a coach bag for that price, go for it. yung nine west and lacoste quality kasi is not that good IMHO. I used to have those bags and after awhile nagkaka-problem sa handles and/or straps.

you're right.  kung minsan, akala mo nakatipid ka. but with long term use, you kept on buying coz nasisira. 

Better mag-ipon na lang and get good / quality bag.

I agree, di masyado maganda quality ng Nine West. Mas nagtagal pa sa akin mga Mango bags ko.

I've heard good things about Fino. Parang gusto ko rin i-try Local pa, so yay!

im a fino fan.  i hoarded their red croc leather collection of accessories.  but i only sticked to one bag lang.

although the bags are a bit expensive.  higher than Longchamp and some dooney or coach.

for 5k i think within the budget of lacoste, longchamp, RL, ninewest, LC & guess. For me, tested ko ang lacoste, as for the discoloration overtime, i wasn't able to experienced it, instead yung pagcrack ng PVC material ang na-experience which btw may be normal for a bag that has been used for at least 10 years na rin my other lacoste bag naman medyo bugbog sa sobrang bigat ng gamit ko but it still looks new, been using it for almost 2 years na, love ko pa rin.. hehe.. yung chaps ko naman medyo sad ako since the leather is starting to peel out na my coach is still on it's dry-run stage.. hehe.. still to find out how it holds up to my usage.. i'm eyeing longchamp also as i've heard from friends that it's durable also.. hoping to get one in the near future
