"Designer" Bag for Beginners

Not sure if this thread already exists but i didn't see any so i decided to start a new one anyways.

I've been a bag lover eversince but i've never bought expensive day bags. maybe the most expensive one i've bought was worth 2K but it's not even worth it (another story). now i'm planning of treating myself to one on my birthday (in august pa) but i'm scouting for a brand as early as now to make the purchase worth it. by the way, my budget is just around 5k. do you sisses have any suggestions? i usually carry around lotsa stuff so heavy duty and easy to organize bags are preferable. tia and post away sisses!

not "designer" but with your budget you could get either lacoste, rl or guess

I would definitely buy a Longchamp bag. Simple yet you can put a lot of things in there.

For me Guess bags are a bit overpriced tapos they're splashed with the brand name all over mukha tuloy greenhills.

For 5k, you can go for simple Nine West bags.

i love Guess bags.. but not yung designs na super flashy na talaga. however, their bags are more of fashionable than functional or durable.

basing on your preferences and budget, i'd buy a lacoste bag. pwede na rin RL or ninewest.

^ i agree. i have bought a guess bag but it is not functional for me, plus parang super heavy for me yung guess bag even without putting anything on it pa. end result, i rarely use it already.

for beginners, i suggest treat yourself with a durable lacoste bag, RL, kate spade (is this designer already?). i also saw a nice sprit bag before (is this designer na din ba) anyhow, designer or not...it will still boil down if your purchase will make you happy on your bday.

long champ bag that is very in right now is pwede na din....pero mas magaganda materials na ginagamit ng lacoste and RL costing the same price. (yun lang naman ang napansin ko)

how about longchamp? perfect for carrying heavy stuff.matibay pa. or cath kidston? accessory lab has one for 5k as well as longchamp and herve chapalier.

I have several lacoste bags .&eventhough i love them,i have to admit,i dont like how their colors fade in time.My friends also share the same sentiments. Lacoste has promised though,that it will adress this issue. I love RL but im not sure if you can get the type of bag you need in RL with that budget. Ang guess na maraming bling bling mejo mabigat and i dont think they're leather. Im not sure sis eh. Longchamp would be the better choice for me. Its not all leather though,just the handle & the flap,but ok na din. & its very durable & can carry heavy loads. Just last week, i saw a cute bag at florsheim at g4. Ang gaan pa & its big! Im not sure if its leather though. Hope this helps! =)

Check out na lang  Kenneth Cole Reaction. They have non-leather bags less than 5k and genuine leather ones costs 6 to 7k.  Ninewest bags are ok too but it's synthetic  leather. Lomchamp and RL ok din.

longchamp dito sa pinas usually cost 7k diba? sa abroad kasi 100 dollars lang, longchamp kana sis! worth it

If you want something na di masyado popular, among the brands mentioned, LC ang di pa ganun ka-popular. I've seen a lot of Nine West kasi lalo yung may mga patterns. Same with Lacoste. That's why I stopped buying from these brands a long time ago. I want something plain, simple and no-fuss bag and ganun ang LC.

I vote for LC because it's classic and it will grow with you. No-fuss bag pa

i'd go for longchamp    i'm not sure though if 5k is enough for a medium le pliage..

aside from longchamp, i also like le sportsac bags.  they're very durable since i get to use my old ones as diaper bags sometimes.

sis, wag na ninewest or guess..go for longchamp, its simple yet classy.

Hindi na matibay yung ibang Nine West bags. I got one for a gift, within 3 months, napupunit na yung "leather" (if it's really leather). My vote goes to Longchamp, Lacoste, and Fino Leather (surprisingly, matibay).

You can buy 2nd hand bag for 5k.  There are really old bally bags online which you can buy.

The cheapest designer bag I know is 21.5k, Marc Jacobs.
