How to deal with babies suffering Colic?

For distressed moms of colicky babies, I have 2 extra bottles of Baby's Bliss Gripe Water which I'd like to pass on at very reasonable prices.

I overstocked dahil sa tuwa ko on how effective it is for my baby. The first 3 months of my baby were terrible! As in super pagod at puyat kakaiyak nya. Then I tried Gripe Water, it worked! 

Now, my baby is 7 months old, and is colic-free. So I don't need it anymore.

hello! i think my baby shows signs of colic and it kicks in sa gabi madalas. usually sa morning kasi after feeding w/ one breast, satisfied siya and tulog na siya. siguro magigising siya after 1 or 2 hours to feed on the next breast. then tulog ulit. but every night or way past midnight, even after feeding on 2oz EBM and both breasts, she shows signs na gutom pa siya. i can't feed naman ulit kasi nga nasusuka na lang niya yung milk. then iyak lang siya ng iyak as in sobrang lakas na namumula na siya. even a pacifier won't work, nilalabas lang niya. then siyempre poop siya ng poop since feed siya ng feed. i sometimes end up just making her suck on my breasts until she herself detaches. pero after a minute sigurong ma-realize niya na di na siya naka-suck, iiyak ulit.

we use Avent (gold bottle) naman for the EBM. supposedly anti-colic yun diba? ayaw naman niya na matagal naka-burping position. if i place her on my chest, iiyak ulit. which is weird kasi love niya matulog sa chest ko every after feeding. as in madalas siya pa bababa para ipuwesto na yung ulo niya to sleep on my chest.

i think her crying spells would last from 2-3 hrs. pahirapan talaga. mags-settle down siya mga before 6am na, when we can't sleep anymore. kaya kulang talaga kami sa sleep ni hubby. we have no yaya kasi kaya kami lang nagpapatahan kay baby.

i've read restime and gripe water here. can we take those meds na to help soothe baby's cries? is it safe? or check with pedia muna? this coming friday ang check-up namin eh.

^hirap sis ng walang tulog nakaka stress nga yan.. it sounds colic to me kasi ganon din baby ko noon.. he'll start crying around 10pm and it lasts for 2-3hrs.. hindi pa uso ang BPA-free bottles noon.. he's not breastfed.. nagstart when he was 2months old.. around 1 month plus din syang ganon.. ang sabi ng pedia namin dito, reflux daw yun.. hindi pa daw fully developed ang digestive system ng baby ko kaya meron abdominal pain.. kusa lang daw mawawala pero he suggested gripe water may help..

it would be best to consult your pedia.. sa case mo kasi breastfed naman si baby.. your pedia may be able to find the cause.. medyo tiis lang ng konti pero usually after a month wala na colic dapat si baby..

^ we'll wait til our check up na nga lang. What we're trying now is to stimulate her in the morning, keep her awake most of the time para pagod na siya by night. Tinry na rin namin kasi last night na sponge bath siya, kaso no effect. Nakaka-stress nga pag laging umiiyak si baby. Thanks sis!

^hi sis skylove, i'm the one who mentioned restime, yan kasi un binigay ni pedia. effective siya, pero siyempre mas gusto ko mawala un cause. my baby is exclusively breastfed also and i'm using the honey colored avent bottles. un burping position ayaw na ayaw din yan ng baby ko dati, kaso narealize ko na if i give up mas worse un effect. sa gabi kasi sis malamig kaya may tendency sila maging colicky. mas effective saken un nakatayo pag pinapaburp ko siya. although may tendency na maglungad ng marami kasi nga nao-overfeed ko na pala. don't worry sis, eventually mawawala din yan. si baby siguro mga 1 month or less nagimprove. and now that she's almost 4mos, di na siya pumapalag pag pinapaburp. try mo lang sis muna kasi matagal pa un friday, wawa rin kayo siyempre napupuyat kayo.

^thanks sis! Ah talaga mas may tendency pag malamig? Every night kasi naka-aircon kami. Try ko nga wala. Yun nga lang kaya kami naga-aircon kasi nis-swaddle namin siya para di magising or magulat while sleeping. Feeling ko naman naiinitan siya pag naka-swaddle kasi nga iyak pa siya ng iyak. Pinapawisan tuloy. With the burping, sige we'll make sure to stand up. Thanks ha?!

By the way, so pano nga pag ganon na dami ko na napa-feed? Pag gusto pa niya dumede dapat ba bigyan ko? Or not? Nakakaawa kasi pag umiiyak siya and baka lalo kabagin.

^yup, di nga kami makapag ac that time kahit sobrang init kasi talagang lalo siyang hindi makakatulog. if you use fan naman, make sure na hindi nakatutok sa kanya.

if you think she's had enough, tama na. kasi magsusuka lang siya. pag nakita mo na madami ng milk na natatapon sa side ng mouth niya that means she's full. i-hele mo na lang. pag pumapalag pa rin lakad-lakad kayo. i read that from somewhere at effective siya, hehe..

what is the best oil na nabibli dito in germany kapag kinkabag si Baby.
Raffael is 3 weeks old, every time ko sya pianapa burp after dumidi, but  kinakabag parin.
Please help, whether you know any effective oil for Babies.

^sis, you can try Weleda Baby Tummy Oil.. yung kaibigan ko nagdala ng ganyan dati for us.. ginamit ko sya sa colicky baby ko.. although i've also used gripe water kaya hindi ko alam which one solved the colic issue..

^ health & beyond ba is the name of the stall? Got gripe water there pero wellements ang brand, not colic calm. Gusto ko sana itry yung colic calm. Yung wellements kasi has to be refrigerated after opening, angbhirap ipainom kay baby pag malamig.

normal lang ba mga sis yun minsna ayaw talaga mag burp ni baby? kasi minsan super tagal na naka upright position pero ayaw parin niya mag burp.. =(
