Hi mga sis, there's a more effective brand na I tried, available din sa Mercury, the name is Strataderm. Ok naman siya sa akin, nag lighten agad ang scar ko after 2 weeks.

its okay for fresh scars,, lalo na if you are prone to hypertrophied scars. Not got much to do with hyperpigmented one. I prefer the triluma instead

gusto ko lang magtanong...
pag nagmole removal, tpos nag-emboss bigla yung skin na pinaggalingan ng mole..
keloid na ba yun?

para naman makabili na ko ng dermatix kung sakali..

I tried dermatix dati. Okey naman sya. Eh ang mga scars ko elementary years pa. So mga 20 years ago na. Tyagaan lang talaga. Naka one tube lang ako kasi mahal :D
Nag lighten talaga yung iba. Meron din halos di na halata. Hypersomething yung scars ko hindi naman keloid. Basta apply lang ng super thin para matuyo agad. Kasi marami or konti same daw effect. Tsaka 12 hours naman ang efficacy. Kaya bale 2x maglalagay per day.
Pag may budget na ulit bili ulit ako hehe.

Hi sis gilenn :) okey ba ang contractubex sa super old scars? Mas mura kasi kesa dermatix pero syempre mahal kung di mag work heehehhe. I tried dermatix na din and okey naman. Pero parang gusto ko din try contractubex :)

actually haven't tried it on old scars.. focus kase ako sa new scar ko.. pero I have this scar near my left eye.. siguro kapag okay na talaga new scars ko try ko.. matagl na rin kase scar ko sa left eye stitches kase siya.. minsan nga I wanna try it on my stretchmarks.. tiyagaan lang siguro talaga.. sa commercial ng dermatix nabasa ko effective daw for scars not more than 2 years.. try pa rin.. mas mura nga contractubex

Napabilib din ako sa contractubex. When I had my lapchole my doctor told me to apply the gel twice a day once dry na yung incisions ko. So I did it and hindi nagdevelop into keloids yung incisions. Then I tried it sa old lipo incisions ko. Aba after a month of constant application pumapantay na yung color ng scars ko sa skin and the keloids from some of my lipo scars nag-flatten sya. I know hindi naman totally mawawala ang scars but I'll be using this hanggang sa di na gaano noticeable yung mga scars ko.

 :)

I have tried Contractubex, effective siya even sa old scars. I used it on my CS scar, numipis yung scar and nag-lighten ang color. :D I want to try Dermatix though. :) Contractubex has to be applied 3-4 times a day kasi, so medyo hassle for me. Hehe

They do work pero super tagal. Dermatix performs better than Contractubex as I've read on a clinical study online comparing the two. Both have to be applied 3-4 times a week. I use Dermatix on my nose for my hyperthropic scars, (raised scars that are left behind after having cystic acne) I apply it after I put all the meds from the regimen that my dermatologist prescribed to me. It's silicone so it doesn't disrupt the creams and whatever I put on my face. The silicone gel just sits on my nose, ever so slowly flattening the scars.
