sana makavisit kami ni hubby sa Soler, nakabili na kami ng 7 pinlight sa Wilcon Depot, Philips ang tatak...yung may cover ng binili namin, need pa namin ng mga hanging lamp & light w/ ceiling fan

A&S lamps  same price lang sa tinda sa soler same brand lang din sila..

wala yata sis may sarili sila store..sa may sucat service road branch kasi kami bumili marami ka pagpilian..may branch din sila sa soler..check mo sa google yung ibang branch nila sis.

I want to visit again Soler, last year kase dito kami namili ng ilang lighting fixtures namin sa bahay. pag matyaga kang suyurin ang area na to marami kang mura na makikita talaga. sulit kahit super layo ko dito. One more thing, hindi porket maliit ang store or walang aircon eh makakamura ka na. Always check other stores muna before buyin the items.

Meron sa Ortigas Home Depot and I THINK meron din sa MC Home Depot The Fort.

Parang wala pa akong nakitang ganun na readily available. You could opt for floor lamp nalang. There's a thin floor lamp sa SM, around 900 ata, and it will not take much space. Check it out!

5 Corners (google for their multiply site nalang) sells Ikea items. Dun ko nabili yung akin.

Anyone using LED bulbs in their homes?

Ano brand ang ok?

And how do i compute how many watts i need for a particular space?

^we invested on LED lights sis. since marami kaming pinlights, sa Soler kami namili. advice lang, wag ka bibili ng made from CHINA, ang bilhin mo yung TAIWAN made, pundido na yung LED made in China lights na nabili namin. kung mapapadpad ka ng Soler, wag ka bibili ng brand na FIAM brand, karamihan ng nasira sa amin, yang brand na yan, 5-6months lang tumagal, walang kwenta, such a waste of money.

also, we bought IGNITE brand LED Bulbs from True Value, medyo mahal but sulit naman, hindi pa pundido, been using for 2-3 years, and I would say, bumalik na ang investment namin dahil talagang nagkaron ng significant change sa meralco bill namin.

Im not really familiar with led lights kaya im just starting my research now. Meron din ba yang "daylight" and "warm" like those curly bulbs?

Nagpa canvass ako sa mall and ang brands na nakita were the ff: akari, energetic (belgium) and GE.

Another issue of mine is how to compute for wattage requirement. Gusto ko kasi mag try muna ng 1 or 2 bulbs without removing the current bulbs i have. Or silipin anong watts nila. Mejo mataas kasi ceiling kaya gusto ko palit agad. Hehe



ETA: i just read meron din palang white and warm.

LED lights madami mga sis sa wilcon. 2W pede pang ilaw sa labas na iwan overnight sa loob for big space mga 5W above. pang room 5W below pede na.

I bought some ceiling lights at A&S Soler around January/February 2009.  A few months ago lang the light bulb gave out, so instead of going to Soler, I presented my receipt to A&S Sucat Branch so they can easily look for the item from their inventory. They have the same item and they sold it to me for the same price.  However, the bulb inside the ceiling light fixture is smaller na pala, and with lower wattage compared to the original bulb.  For the convenience and the fact that they give the same price, I'm happy with A&S.

san kaya makakabili ng mura na T5 na 1.2m na LED? pinakamababa na presyo nakita ko kasi 900 each. yung ilaw namin sa coved ceiling kasi 21W isa, tapos 16 piraso yun. grabe lang sa konsumo ng kuryente. tapos may halogen pa kami na spotlight, tatlong ilaw agad kada switch, kaya hanap din ako ng mura na LED na pin...
Baka may massuggest po kayo san makakakuha ng murang LED. Meron kami nakuhanan na mura sa sulit before kaya lang wala silang t5 tska bi-pin puro screw in. TIA

^The LED pin-type for the spotlight, you can buy that from Wilcon Builders (or CW Home Depot ata yun) at P300+ each with 5 years warranty but I can't remember the brand na kasi two or three months ago ko na siya binili. Experience ko with cheap LED lights, hindi tumatagal, sometimes months lang ayaw na umilaw.  The sales agent from the home depot said if mapundi within 5 years, palit agad so I guess the P300/pc is sulit na.
