Lights and lamps

^ Rain, Fiam ang brand ng lights (we used the kaha lang, Philips bulb na energy-saver sa loob) namin for the kids' and guest rooms and bathrooms.  So far, okay naman siya.  Nakaka-1 year na kami, wala namang putok or something untoward na nangyari.

You can also check out Opple, mas mahal ng konti pero okay din, sa master's bathroom naman namin gamit yan.  Sa Light Arts in Ortigas Home Depot ko binili. 

We spent more for lighting fixtures in high-traffic areas such as the kitchen, dining room, living room and garage.  Sa low-density areas such as the bathrooms, okay na rin yung Fiam brand.

what kind of decorative light ang bagay sa Sala? Mostly kasi yung mga hanging lamps bagay sa dining.

i went to soler and found the pieces that i like.

I liked the one that dingdong dantes bought for our dining area (yung 4-light setup lang at hindi yung 6-light setup.)

The one i wanted for our living area uses halogen light ("peanut"-type to be exact), however, each peanut bulb consumes 20 watts and since there are 16 peanut bulbs, that is a whooping 360 watts of consumption.

We really liked the design, it's very modern/contemporary so my wife and I agreed to buy it. However, we will only be using it for decorative purpose and thus, we will normally use four small lights mounted in the ceiling for daily use he3.

Btw, the light we wanted to use for our diing table looks like those giures use in chemistry class, yung mukha syang nucleus or protein strand ng chemicals he3.

I will post pictures later and i hope you will give comments on it sissies and bros.

Nasira recently yung eglo study lamp ko (the hinge of the peanut head melted because halogen light was too hot). May repair shop ba of lamps dito sa manila? Or are there any shops in alonzo street that sells spare parts for busted lamps?

hi sisses... i need some help/advise

sa sala kasi namin... meron 4 na light bulbs... isa lang ang switch nila... e medyo mataas ang electric bill namin kaya naghahanap kami ng way para makatipid-tipid... subukan sana naming alisin ang 2 bulbs and itira ang 2 din... question ko lang... kumokunsumo pa rin ba ng kuryente kahit walang ilaw na nakalagay dun sa lagayan (sorry.. hindi ko alam ang term dun sa pinaglalagyan mismo ng bulb)  tig 10 watts lang naman each ilaw...

I called them, they referred me to their authorized repair shop. Waited for a week only to be informed na di na daw magagawa kasi wala silang parts dito sa Philippines. Yun pala mahirap kapag di local lamp yung nabili mo. Mahihirapan ka to get spare parts once it gets broken. Sayang naman yung lamp, maganda pa naman

Where can we buy stained glass standing lamps (Tiffany style)?  Kasi yan yung gusto kong pang accent sa living room, family room and den/guest room.  Meron sa A&S sa Alabang but it costs around 13K.  Sana merong cheaper and I prefer made to order so I can choose the design according to the theme of the room.

Oh no, sayang talaga Sana man lang pwede sila mag order ng parts. We got Eglo pa naman for our dining room. May matching bedroom and living room lamps sana sya pero di ko muna kinuha. Now I'm having 2nd thoughts... Pero ang ganda nga kasi ng mga Eglo lamps no?
