Prickly Heat/Bungang Araw

my 1 month old daughter has this right now, and she looks kawawa because her face is all red. we're doing everything na like patting her body with wet face towel every 3 hours and dabbing cornstarch na din regularly. we sleep in an airconditioned room every night for almost 10 hours plus 3 hours in the afternoon pero ganun pa din. i don't know what to do anymore. we can't afford naman to turn on the aircon 24/7.

sis i don't think it's acne kasi hindi naman sya mukhang whiteheads. it's not scaly either so it's not also eczema. it's just little red bumps lang talaga.

whenever my daughter gets prickly heat, we use cetaphil  as her soap/bodywash. then dab Fissan powder for prickly heat as often as necessary. madali nawawala. pero di sya nagkakaroon sa face, always sa neck or sa batok

Is Bioderm soap okay for 3 year olds?  A mommy friend told me that it is good for skin rashes.

2yo baby ko naman laging may rashes sa nose tapos pag minit  namumula sobra nose niya, lagi tuloy napapansin.  May 1 year na rin sigurong ganyan kaya pinatingin ko na sa derma. Binigyan siyang oinment for 1 week pag di daw nawala biopsy na daw, tama bang ibiopsy kaya?

my 1yr old naman, nun ginamitan namen ng fissan the more na she itch. one day hinayaan lang namin. walang powder or fissan at all, pero punas lang every so often ng bimpo. ayun nawala agad.

@mycheska - sis tama si len143, hindi kaya  newborn rashes lang yan? at that age kasi wala pa dapat pinapahid sa mukha ng baby eh. as in water lang. di sya dapat sinasabon pa. try na water lang muna, as in warm water, as in yung parang pinatay mo lang yung lamig nung water from faucet. nakadeepwell ba kau? kasi kung deepwell baka hindi rin sya hiyang sa ganung water, ganun kasi nangyari dun sa anak ng friend ko, as in purified water ang pinaliligo nila sa baby nila (ang gastos nun...) till 4 months...

daughter ko din andami nito fissan lang nilalagay ko, although mabilis naman mag dry pero yung iba parang may nana, tapos yung iba after mag dry, nangitim naman

Sis ganon yung sa nose ng baby ko parang may nana. Dinala ko siya sa ibang derma pinatuloy lang yung hydro--- basta ointment siya at binigyan siyang Zinc oxide effective naman.  Zinc oxide is very effective sa bungang araw at iba pang rashes.

believe it or not, i only use burt's bees diaper rash cream on my daughter's prickly heat. no powder whatsover. it helps remove the rashes. plus i also make sure the area is always dry.

^^Hyrocortisone? yung sa daughter ko mabilis naman mawala basta alaga lang sa fissan at kelangan dry kaso sobrang pawisin ang problema ko eh yung sa neck area na after mag dry eh nangitim

ganito den yung sa daughter ko, puti pa naman nya kaso meron sya sa braso and sa likod. natatakot ako sana hindi magmukhang mapa, hindi ko alam ilalagay ko kaya lagi sya nakasando para di pagpawisan. minsan nagtutubig.. wawa naman
