Where do you order your party trays?

Minimum?  I think the standard small tray is good for 6-8 persons, big tray 12-15 persons. Passion cooks have party trays but I am not sure if they have delivery na.  Two years ago, for pick-up lang if on weekends.  They can deliver to Makati.

8 Spoons have pasta, noodles, chicken, beef, pork, chicken dishes.  Yummy naman their food and I received an apology for the delivery fiasco.  They are goig to refund daw what we paid.  Anyway, since they already know where our office is, we hope to avoid the same incident happening when we order again.

sayang naman sis Marose. saken ok ang 8 spoons! kasi yung kitchen nila is 15mins away from our house lang kaya on time dumadating at mainit pa.

For those living in the south, you can order party trays from Taste of Joy. They have branches in Muntinlupa, meron sa tapat ng Southmall. Ang na-try namin is the spaghetti, lumpiang shanghai, roast beef and pichi-pichi. Masarap naman lahat ng na-order namin. Parang Amber's sila pero I think cheaper. We have yet to try their barbecue which they say is one of their bestsellers. It is actually a family business of my friend. Sya pa mismo ang gumagawa ng mga sauces and panimpla sa mga dishes nila.

This thread is helpful for me, as for our baby's monthly birthday celebrations eh ayaw na namin ng usual pizza/fast food orders. We had Conti's pero kakasawa na rin. Will try 8 Spoons on May 3 sakto, QC based pa sila.

Hearty Onion is also good.  We had their set menu for lunch today.  Ang sarap ng Hakka chili chicken, meatloaf and braised beef with mashed sweet potato.

sa office namin, may inoorderan sila who they refer as "magpantay". sarap ng dynamite nila, anghang lang! ok din pancit sotanghon, chap chae and chicken lollipop. will try to get the exact name of the owner and kung saan location. but they do delivery din naman.

not sure sis, wala pa kasi nag-order nun sa amin, i'll try to ask pag nakuha ko yung contact details. ang masarap na lumpia shanghai na natikman ko is from federal restaurant located in allied bank building, kaya lang sa makati located. they deliver within makati, not sure lang if kung malayo if pwede. the last time kasi, pick up lang ako kasi sabado yung event ko.

^ Masarap nga at malutong (mura pa) yung Lumpia sa Federal.  Halos tapat ng office namin ito.  We order monthly.  Sarap din yung fish fillet with corn sauce and beef broccoli nila.

For those in Novaliches or Del Monte area, we order food from Golden Chinese Food House. 
They only have 2 branches eh, and they don't deliver pag malayo from their branch (as far as I know).

@dec girl and marose, thank you alam ko yang federal pero never ko pa natikman (may friend lang ako na nagsabi dati masarap chinese dishes raw ang sini-serve). Ita-try ko dyan

swerte ako sa party platter kasi I became friends with the owner of horikatsu. Japanese bistro sila so para maiba naman I get my trays from them. I love the yakisoba, torikatsu, kani salad, maki sushi and teriyaki. they can deliver pa kasi they havr two branches, valenzuela and makati.

 pag pinoy food naman swerte din ako dahil maraming malapit samin selling pansit sa bilao and frieds like crispy pata etc.

I was disappointed with the party trays I ordered from Bistro 109.  Food was bland and forgettable.  We had pesto pasta, chicken cordon bleu, fish salpicao and cauliflower with mushroom casserole.     
Okay pa naman sila sanang kausap kaya lang hindi ako nasarapan sa food nila.  Walang wow factor.

^ Sa Bistro 109, P350/head for the dishes I mentioned.   Last month, nag-order ako sa 8 Spoons, semi-catered kasi nagset-up sila ng buffet table pero walang server, P450/head for the following: Oriental chicken pasta (similar to Charlie Chan pasta of Yellow Cab), chicken crepe with mango salsa (my favorite), miso-glazed salmon, hamburger steak, vegetables au gratin and dessert (salted caramel brownies, tres leches squares and lemon squares).  P100 difference but ang layo sa taste kasi sa 8 Spoons masarap at malasa, hindi bland. Sorry talaga sa fans ng Bistro 109, baka mali ang in-order ko pero walang lasa ang food.   In fairness, responsive sila sa email at madaling kausap si Ms. Anne.

Other dishes na okay sa 8 Spoons: bbq ribs, salmon with cream cheese, braised beef.
