kanina, I checked ONESIMUS, barong chinese collar with front burda, starts at 2,600. not bad . . .

Slacks for men starts at 1,400 to 1,900...

hubby got his from onesimus. ayaw sabihin sa kin kung magkano.

^^naku sis sori nakalimutan ko price ng barong ni ms anabelle pero yung pina raya kasi kinuha ko. basta yun na yung pinakamahal nyang tinda. mga 3400 - 3800 yata yun plus free camisa de chino plus 700 sa pants naman. pag ibang type ng barong like jusi, mas mura yata. text her na lang

nice naman yung nakuha ni hubby. comfy. black with the print he likes. mahirap kasi syang makahanap ng size na kakasya sa kanya e, so once he saw that, he got that this is it feeling daw.

 Hi sisses! H2B and I are getting married March 2011. He's graduating masters class next year too. Since we're so excited preparing for our wedding, he thought of doing a paper related to weddings na rin. hehe.  You sisses have always been so helpful.  I'm hoping that you could extend your helpfulness a little more and help me help H2B dear?

1. Who shops for the groom's barong, you or him?
2. Who decides what the groom gets to wear, you or him?
3. What do you both prefer, barongs or suits?
4. What kind of barong/suit do you prefer? (fabric, style, fit, collars, etc.)
5. What's your budget?
6. Is there any place/store you prefer when scouting for barongs?
7. Any suggestions to make the groom's barong better?

hi sis! sige, i'll help you out. the answers i'm giving are based from our actual experience during wedding preps.

1. we both shopped for his barong.
2. he decided what barong to wear.
3. i wanted a barong, he was torn between both. i won. hehe!
4. his barong was made from pina jusi, it had a chinese collar. we picked the usual off-white color.
5. i think it was around 2K, can't remember.
6. we had his barong bought in divisoria, pero i guess i would advise to scout shops that specialize on barongs like exclusively his or arthur's or onesimus.
7. hmm... not really sure on how to make it better. baka you can choose a certain pattern na okay, or have it made especially for him though you have to go dun sa talagang naghahabi nung tela. during our wedding, i requested all males in the entourage to wear a sport-collared barong para si hubby lang ang naka-chinese collar. hehe!

3. barong para presko. tanghali ang wedding saka di aircon yung church
4. pina raya kasi ang bongga ng dating. naawa naman ako kung tipirin ko sya sa barong. baka maya e mas bongga ba isuot ng abay. hehe.
5. What's your budget? i think mga 4800 - 5k max kasama na pants dun. nakakita kasi ako ng murang supplier from laguna

7. hmm..baka ok kung sya lang yung pina suot. yung iba e ibang type na ng tela para angat naman yung itsura ng barong nya sa iba

Saan maganda magpagawa ng barong .. For example meron akong gustong design ng barong pwede ba nila un gayahin? How much kaya per piece ng barong brown colored ang gusto kong barong kasi brown/green ang motiff namin e...

Mas makakamura ba kami ag barong na lang kesa suit pa ang isuot ng entourage ko...
Initial plan kasi is mag suit si h2b tapos nakalongsleeves at vest with tie ang mga groomsmen nya... Kaso iniisip ko baka pwede si h2b na lang ang suit tapos naka barong na lang ang entourage nya pati mga dads at ninongs...

my hubby did that, nag search sa internet ng mga latest barongs or nagcheck sa onesimus na mga type niya. then pinacopy niya sa divisoria, actually yung shop lang nila ang andon pero yung gumagawa sa batangas. you can choose also your prefer tela or jusi ata tawag don. just in case mapadpad ka sa divisoria sa may prime block, try to look for MOIRA's, sabihin mo you were refer by shine yung may bridal car alam niya na yun and hinge ka discount

taga saang area ka? may nirefer samin Gerswyn sa may retiro. magaling daw manahi. pero bili ka nalang ng tela s divisoria or quiapo area nga para makamura ka.

IMO, mas pabor ako s una mong plan kesa sa suit(groom) + barong(ento). o kaya naman barong lahat. pero lately marami n rin ako nakikitang groom lang ang naka suit.
