They are big fuckass' that will only cause you many hours of anger and frustration.

 It means either a zombie or a bangkay in local
dialect. pwede rin "corpse".

You know how some teachers jokingly and condescendingly refer to students like "hoy mga
animal! hoy mga baliw" yung teacher ko noon coz we were so noisy, sabi niya "hoy mga
minatay pakinggan niyo ako muna!"

and the way she said it was soooooo funny even though I believe it was an insult (yet I didn't
know what it meant.) I never forgot the term.. in where I live, this word is just a funny-sounding
term for zombies or the undead.
