Leaving for SG on July 5-8 with my bro

Trying to pay travel tax online at TIEZA. Pero hindi ako makapagbayad kasi when I submitted the application, transcation approved agad. Tapos when I tried to click the payment button, sabi forbidden? Bakit ganun? Tsaka mga sis anung nilagay niyo dun sa sub tax class? Tourist or Others? kasi nilagay ko others eh

I was backreading but could not find the answer I was looking for, sana may makatulong... I am traveling to the US in 3 weeks with my children, they were born here and hold both US and Phil passports. My infant child for sure exempt na yan kasi 3 months palang sya when we travel, but what about my 3 year old? RTT ba yung sa kanya or exempt sya if she has a US passport?

^use her US passport so you won't have to pay the PH travel tax.

@theamazinganna my mom also holds dual passports. when she books her ticket from manila to the usa she informs the airline that she has a us passport. they the airline then ask for a copy and refund the ph travel tax.

@summer888 does she book online (like travelocity or expedia) or direct w airline? Our tickets were booked online, i'm not sure if it included the travel tax na, di pa ata?

sometimes she books online. try to call the airline directly even if you booked them thru booking sites. they will still assist you naman.

Hello po! I'm an OFW working in Dubai. Going for vacation next month for a couple of days lang. Then i'll be going to Hongkong. Question lang, do i need to pay for the PH tax when i travel to HKG or am i exempted? Kasi po balik din po ako ng Pinas before I travel back to Dubai. Kasi po, once lang po diba pwede magamit yung OEC? Pa advise naman po. TIA!

^Yup pay ka ng PH travel tax when you go to HKG since vacation ka and not returning to your work place. The OEC can only be used once and will be surendered at the check-in counter on your return flight to Dubai.

so a friend will visit Ph - US citizen

question: pag 30 days lang ang allowed na stay sa visa, will it count on the day of arrival ba?

kasi arrival sa Ph is October 20, exit is  November 19

need pa ba ng extension and visa?

o saktong 30days na to?

^Start ng count pag tatak ng arrival stamp sa passport. In case mag-extend sya magbabayad sya sa immigration cashier upon his/her departure sa airport na.

Wala ng P200 processing fee sa RTT ng kids. P810 lang binayaran ko last week. Kababasa ko pa lang na plan nila pababaan travel tax, may naimplement agad. Sana pati sa adult mabawasan.

^sa Terminal 2 kami. Sa airport lagi kami nagbabayad ng travel tax. Hanapin mo lang counter.

May nakapagtry na ba magrefund ng travel tax dito? Bumili kasi kami ng ticket and P1620 siningil sa min ng airlines kahit sa child kasi wala kami nung RTT certificate. Naiisip ko lang kung pwede irefund yung P810 sa TIEZA or sa airport?

^ako sis, prepare mo lang yung docs (ticket, birth cert, passport, orig copy ng used oec), nung nagrefund ako pinabalikan pa sa akin tapos cheque ang binigay.

Sana matapat ka sa medyo bata-bata na staff dun para maliksi pa kumilos, hehe.

Ask ko lang kung pwede po ba na photocopy of passport lang ang dalhin or need talaga yung original? Sa tieza robinsons galleria namin balak kumuha. Si hubby kasi kasama namin sa trip eh a day before pa ng trip namin to hk sya uuwi ng pinas (OFW sya sa korea). Gusto ko na sana kumuha a week before our trip. Pwede kaya yon photocopy lang?

^^ sa TIEZA office mismo ko punta? Oh, akala ko kuha na agad, babalikan pa pala yung check.

^ not sure pag OFW case, pero pag hindi kasama travel tax sa ticket namin sa airport na ko nagbabayad and automatic na P810 bayad ng anak ko. Passport lang binibigay ko.
