Ang may exemption ay mga OFW, diplomats, etc pero kung spouse, children o parents ng OFW, reduced travel tax lang sis. Nag-avail na ako nyan nung July at October last year. Di ko lang alam kung nagbago na sila ng rules pero as of February 2013, same rule naman ang in-apply nila. Di lang ako naka-avail kasi nga scanned copy ng OEC ni husband ang dala ko. Lahat yan sa airport ko na pinrocess.

thanks for the clarification sis... kaso mukhang walang OEC na naiwan dito si hubby

i tried looking for it in all our docs and wasn't able to find a wayward one

sayang ang travel tax... i guess, i'll just refund it

^Same rules pa rin, yung OCW lang ang exempted while mga dependents ang qualified for reduced travel tax.

I am going to saudi under a visit visa sponsored by my husband, am i qualified for a reduced travel tax even though its only a visit visa?
Correct me po, if RTT its 800+200, and then another 750 for the terminal fee?

^ sis, I think php500 lang babayaran mong travel tax as an OFW dependent. Just make sure you bring your husband's OEC and a copy of your marriage certificate. Then me separate na babayaran terminal fee na php550.

hi mga sis.. ishare ko lang po na ang bagong office ng TIEZA kung saan nagapply for Reduce travel tac at Tax exempt certificate ay Amorsolo St. Makati na po. Likod ng Makati Cinema Square. Last OCt 24 lang sila lumipat dun..check nyo po sa website.. HTH

^ para saan yung authentication ng OEC? Nung ako kasi, dala ko lang mismo yun kulay green ata na OEC slip.. yun lang pinapakita ko everytime I traveled to visit hubby..

I've read here not valid daw if you present only the photocopy, and it needs daw to be authenticated, thanks a lot sis.

My husband left today as my dependent. Na avail nya yung reduced tax because I am an OFW.

Pinadala ko na lang yung original na OEC ko para sure at less hassle.

Sis teejiko, ang travel tax department wala na sa KAlaw, inuna silang nilipat sa makati.. yung ibang department ng DOT susunod na din daw ilipat sa Makati.. nung Oct 24 lang sila nagstart dun..

Mga sis, pwede sa airport (NAIA Terminal 3) na mismo mag-avail or mag-apply ng Reduced Travel Tax right before we check-in? Pano process nun, me forms na kelangan fill up at san yun nakukuha, dun na mismo sa tax counter? Sorry, first time to travel with child.

sis sa DOT lang ata talaga nakakakuha ng Reduce travel tax. wala namang form. ipepresent mo lang ang original passport at processing fee na 200.00. Nasa Amorsolo st. makati ang DOT , sa likod ng makati cinema square.

^^If you did a little bit of back reading somebody posted their first hand experience of getting the RTT at the airport. Yes, you can process the RTT at the airport just make sure to allot more time since minsan mahaba ang pila sa PH Travel Tax counter.
