ask ko lang mga sisses, upon house construction, nagpalagay ba kayo ng roof heat insulator, yung foil?

is it really advisable na maglagay ng ganun? may 2nd floor kase yung plan ng house namin, okay daw na maglagay ng ganun, kase syempre iba ng climate ngayun, para daw pag day hindi masyado mainit yung singaw ng init from roof...

^syempre sis upon construction, kasama sa plan namin yung maglagay ng ceiling, then aside from ceiling maglagay pa rin kami ng foil dun mismo sa trusses. Iba pa rin daw kase kung may heat insulator, lalo na sa 2nd floor yung mga rooms...

palagyan mo na kung kaya ng budget. makakasave ka rin in the long run kasi hindi mainit sa 2nd floor. kung aircon/fan baka di mo na need buksan minsan dahil hindi naman masyado pumapasok ang init.

^^ if my ceiling, make sure na well-ventilated or my exhaust ang roof to prevent heat gain during the day and heat sink at night.

yun nga rin naisip ko since maliit lang naman yung house namin, okay na sya in the long run, grabe na kase ang init ngayun, lalo na dito sa Imus, Cavite... kailangan pa rin pala ng exhaust sa roof, discuss ko rin yun upon construction

^ may thickness pa yun ha. mas maganda kung mas makapal at kung back to back ang foil mas maganda. ask mo na rin dun sa magru-roofing sa inyo kung anong best.

Just attend every worldbex (world trade center) during march and philconstruct (smx convention) to get updates on the latest construction materials. Just get the directory and the price lists of course.

For QC residents... bigyan ko kayo ng tip para hindi tumagal your permit processing.   1st check that ALL requirements are there.  2nd... hehe, deal with 1 of the at least 3 syndicates handling the processing of permits.  Mag canvass ka which of the 3 will give you the better cost.   

O sige, mga taga City Hall dyan sa QC deny this... but that is my experience.. repeated experience.   Ask around sa mga QC friends nyo... you just  may get a discount from their referral as to which group handles it for a lesser fee.

hi mga sis need lang po ng advice. nagpaquote kasi kami nun weekend sa maglalagay ng tiles sa floor at maglalagay ng wood on top ng stairs steps made of cement kasi yun hadgdan

eto specs ng house:
1st flr- 21 sqm- tiles ang lalagay yun mamalalaki i think yun 20X20 inches
2nd floor- 17++ sqm- vinyl tiles (yun rectangular na wood design printed)
3rd fle- 17++ din- same sa second floor
stairs- 14 steps per floor so 2 hagdan yun up to wns flr and up to 3rd flr.

quote- 1k per sqm daw so 56 sqm lahat yun floor area. 56k labor only
staits- 12k per set of hagdan- labor also

^ we can never really tell how much exactly ang labor for anything you want done. this differs from location to location (mas mura ang labor sa province), material used (nagbabago minsan ang labor cost kung mahirap iinstall - like kung super liit the tiles syempre mas matrabaho), etc. the only way you can tell kung tama ba ang price mo is to canvass. as i always say, libre lang ang magpa-quote. get 2 more contractors to quote for you. list down the exact things they need to do and the materials they are using. then compare. your decision will be based on the price and also kung click kayo ni contractor. good luck!

sorry pero palpak may contractor e. hindi ko gusto yung gawa nya - baka masyado akong metikulosa. pero hindi ko pa rin sya irerecommend kasi pinababalik ko pa sya dito sa amin. hanggang ngayon no-show. ayoko ng ganung service. marami akong kilalang contractor pero since hindi ko pa nasusubukan, mahirap magrecommend. ayoko mapahiya.

yan contractor, napakahirap hanapin kapag nagsisimula ka. tapos kapag may contractor ka na, saka sila magsusulputang lahat parang kabute. kasi nakikita nila yung ongoing project mo.

there is this thread in tipidpc before na binabasa ko everyday. they post problems with their house tapos there are also contractors na may free consult-kung madali lang. or kailangan na talaga nila magkita personally. search mo na lang.

mga sis, I'm planning na magpachange ng roofing lalo na at tag-ulan, yero lang kasi yung samin..mga magkano kaya dapat ko i-allot pqng nqgpqchange ako ng roofing..Plan namin ng mom ko duratile ang gamitin..thanks
