We shifted pedia from MCU to Meycauyan Bulacan. Dra. Dinna Belo ang pedia namin ngayon,may clinic siya sa Meycauyan Doctors and may sarili syang clinic sa Holy Angels. P300 pf nya at magaling din siya yun nga lang madami din nagpapagamot..pila kapag clinic na niya at dapat nagpapareserve ka thru text sa secretary nya

We have the same pedia sis. Siya rin doctor ko when it comes to my allergic rhinitis. Btw, sang clinic ka ni Dr. Reyes pumunta?

Dr. Marthony P. Basco of Medical City Sta. Lucia - Marikina. I entrusted him my newborn baby boy. He's ma P.R and very informative. Naaalala ko saknya si Kuya Kim Atienza because of his FYIs Very affordable din yung consultation fee nya and I salute him coz siya pa mismo nagrecommend sakin to avail the free vaccine program sa mga health centers in our place. Such a friendly pediatrician hindi lang for babies pati na din sa bulsa ng mommies. hehe

You can try Dr. Bessie Buendia.  She holds clinic at PDH TThS 1:30-5:30pm, Rm. 428.  Your OB ususally will have a Pedia-partner who will catch your baby but you can also tell her f you have a preferred Pedia.

We finally got to try Dr. Herbie Uy of St. Luke's. He's very good! Super daldal, masinsin and explains everything thoroughly. Among the pedias I've tried, he's the best. Plus points din that he gives out his cel no. Some of the pedias we've tried aren't too keen on giving out their cel numbers. Consultation fee is P500 which is the usual consultation fee with other pedias.

I only have 2 issues though. First, we find going to St. Luke's to be quite a hassle compared to going to PCMC/Capitol Med. Second, I have some beef with the meds he prescribed to my kid. Parang ang mamahal. He did also mention that he doesn't believe in generic meds and explained to us why. Kaya lang parang yung brand ng meds na pinresribe lahat mahal. For those who have tried Dr. Herbie Uy, do you also feel the same way? Baka kasi depende lang din sa case. But my kid had the same case before (atypical pneumonia) and I remember we were prescribed a cheaper brand by the pedia we used to see before him.

Sis, na curious ako, bakit siya against sa generic? kasi yung pedia namin and mga doctors ko ususally generic ang uang option na nibibigay para mas makatipid.

^I asked him about it because ako si Ms. Generic Meds. Sabi niya hindi raw pareho ang effectiveness ng branded meds and generic meds. Syempre skeptical din ako, because that's the usual lines delivered by docs who don't support the use of generic meds. Pero sabi niya nasubukan daw niya mismo gumamit nito and sometimes/usually it doesn't deliver the same results as branded meds. If its vitamins/multivitamins, no prob using generic, he says. But for antiobiotics at iba pang prescription drugs, he says branded ones are more effective.

Different doctors have different takes on the matter. Must admit I became more confused about it. Like I said, suki pa naman ako ng generic meds sa mga drugstore.

^ Dr. Rina Reyes-Quintos checked my kids before, not sure though if she accepts Medicard. 

Dr. Daniel Alonzo is my ENT (but he is not a pedia-ENT) and he accepts health cards.
