@xtin3810, the pedia of my kids is Dr. Resti Bautista.  Satisfied with him and yeah, he checks the baby thoroughly, hindi nagmamadali at maraming advice on feeding, taking care of the baby and answers questions patiently.  But he goes to the clinic (Room 524, MAB) once a week only, every Monday, 3-6 pm.  He took over the patients of Dr. Mianne Silvestre who is on leave.  PF is P600.  Not accredited with Maxicare though.

heartheart, my baby is 7 months old now, naalala q sabi ng dr balik daw after 2 week pra mapa- well baby c baby. check up [textspeak!] [textspeak!] kng nkapag-adjust na c baby, kng nag-gain na ng weight and so on.

if you're near megamall, try dra. bernales of sti mega clinic. super nice kya d ka mahihiya magtanong sa kanya. mahilig siya sa babies kaya pag new born super detailed siya na minsan naiinis na ibang patients kc ang tagal naman daw ni doc mag-check up. monday lang sked nya from 4-6pm. plus, she can give you discount sa mga vaccine ni baby! you just have to ask.

Our pedia is Dr. Charina Dizon.  She holds clinic at cardinal and st lukes global.  we like her coz mabait sya and she doesn't prescribe medicines when not needed.  Last time our daughter got a fever she encouraged us to observe muna kahit na tempted na ako to ask for antibiotics... after 2 days of fever the fever subsided...turns out dr. dizon was right viral lang nga.  buti na lang she didnt give in to my kakulitan about antibiotics...

Another pedia we go to is a pedia-dermatologist Dr. Malou Palmero of Medical City since our daughter gets rashes easily... actually we started going to her when she was still about 4 months old since we saw some reddish color on her leg... i got really scared thought its some sort of condition... we checked with 2 other doctors (a pedia and a derma) both of them weren't able to give a diagnosis... It was only Dr. Palmero who was able to assure us that its just some form of cutis marmorata and would go away on its own.  True enough it went away on its own.

^^ Dr. Palmero was my batchmate in high school.

^Several UP-PGH doctors have clinics at Don Santiago Building across PGH.  You can also visit the new doctors' wing of PGH (modern and clean).

aw, baby ko mag3 weeks na now ko pa lang dadalahin sa pedia. inantay ko pa kasi maxicare nya eh.

plan ko sa makati med dalahin, layo kasi ng CGH, kung san ako nanganak eh. then vaccines nya sa center dito samin. may sched na sya sa July 6 for 3 vaccines eh. any reco Makati Med then maxicare accredited?

For those na malapit sa PGH, Dra. Irminia Ang is very good and nice too. Ang pinakaayoko sa pedia yung painom ng painom ng gamot or magrerecommend ng mahal na gamit or unnecessary tests.

Dra. Ang is very matipid. She teaches me things kung paano makakatipid. Plus she's a neo-natologist so expertise niya ang newborn. She's affiliated with certain health cards. And kahit 4pm na (she starts ng 9am without lunch break yan) never mong mafifeel na pagod na siya or minamadali ka niya. My daughter likes her a lot.

The only thing I don't like about her is hindi niya pinapamigay her cellphone number Pero that's ok. Her experience is what's important.

Our pedia is Dr. Cricket Chen - Medical Plaza Makati and St. Luke's Global (initial consultation fee is p1000 then p700 na mga sumunod)

mga sis patulong po ako we're looking for a pedia here in makati since i gave birth sa province last april (baby's turning 3mos. on july 2). la union is about 5hours from here kaya kelangan talaga namin ng pedia for our baby. pakipost naman po yung name, clinic skeds and kung saan. sana yung mabait na pedia po. Hi mommies. Recommendations please for a breastfeeding friendly/advocate pedia who holds clinic in Capitol Med or FEU-NRMF in Fairview. Medyo malayo na kasi kung sa St. Luke's. Plus points din sana kung UPCM grad. My kid's current pedia is from Capitol Med. She's good but I'm not too happy with her.

I might try Dr. Sumpaico, pedia-allergo from PCMC. My son has allergy and is also showing signs of having asthma. My only concern is the hospitals she's affiliated with. Our former pedia is from Capitol Med at gusto ko sana affiliated doon just in case magkasakit siya at kailanganganing i-confine sa hospital.

Mga sis, can you recommend a good pediatrician accredited by Maxicare within Makati Area but not in Makati Med, ang hirap pumila dun for accredited Maxicare doctors. Super tagal.
