Anyways, sa gb3, nagrereplace din agad ng mga food pag ubos na. Except tempura.. Matagal bago ilabas, tapos it takes 10 minutes bago nila palitan yung ubos na plate ng tempura..

^ that's the difference with Sambo Kojin. walang waiting time for the tempura. replace agad ang basket. and btw, i didnt finish my dessert too, di naman kami siningil for leftover fee. (nagbayad kasi agad kami, then left. haha)

hahaha kami ganyan din style namin. bayad muna para kahit may matira ,wala na singil for leftovers. tsaka pinapatungan ko ng plate or bowl for example pag dko type yung nakuha kong food.. hahahah

anyways, yakimix is good at nag enjoy naman kami kumain dun. but I have yet to try sambo

i find Yakimix over rated. sorry for those na fan ng Yakimix ah! Mas natuwa pa ko sa buffet ng Tong Yang. Ang tagal magreplace ng mga Japanese dishes. I thought super daming choices but hindi naman pala. Maybe high expectation nlang siguro ako. Kaya when I went there, na disappoint ako. Ang natuwa lang ako is yung desserts nila! Yun talaga madami! But the rest, thumbs down for me!

We tried Yakimix lasy january 30, tomas morato branch. OK yung experience namin kasi we particularly like sushi, ok yung selection nila, madami naman mapagpipilian. Yung mga cooked na food, ok lang din, not so spectacular but not bad naman. Pansin ko rin na medyo matagal mag refill ng tempura, pero ok lang sa akin, im not so fond of it. Yung meat and sea food to grill ok din, just enough lang yung taste, they have different taste profiles, may hot and spice, may salty lalo na yung mga bacon yung iba naman plain lang kaya kailangan imarinate or i-dip sa suce.

Those who wish to try yung sauce mixture, eto yung medyo ok, mix nyo yung parang shimp paste (sorry di ko na check yung name), then yung soy sauce, then garlic, spring onion and chili slices. you can use it as dipping sauce or marinate. Yum!

Tried MOA and trinoma branches..MOA for lunch, then tinry namin last chinese new year sa trinoma for dinner...grabe waiting time namin to get inside to think nagpareserve na kami 2 hours before mapunta ng trinoma. Worth the wait naman sa mga first timers, takot namin ni hubby kasi kami nagrecomment dito. May mga leftovers din kami, ginawa namin is kinalat sa ibang plates then yung iba iniwan sa grill, nilagay sa TIRANG SOUP, etc.. hehe

one of my fav buffet restuarant in manila..

kumain na ako sa moa and yung sa macapagal road..
sinces malapit lang sa office... kapag may occasion sa office usually dito kami...

Hindi naman nila pinababayaran yung mga left overs. yung nasa likod kasi ng table namin daming cakes na hindi nagalaw... pero hindi naman pinabayaran... pati yung left over ng mga cousins ko na pasaway hindi siningil.

i prefer yakimix sa trinoma kesa sa t. morato...mas maganda ang ambiance....saka di naman nagkaproblema sa refill ng tempura when we were there....very attentive pa yung mga staff nila laging nililinis yung table....sila pa nagpapalit ng plate.....

finally got to try out yakimix kanina! went to their tomas morato branch. since we didn't have a reservation, we went there around 5:45pm. medyo marami na ring tao ha! by 6:15 ata occupied na most if not lahat ng tables. anyway, masarap naman siya. nag-enjoy kami ni hubby. i liked their selection of different rolls. kakatuwa lang. i'm def coming back. sama ko mom ko next time.

ayan after reading the whole thread, ive decided sa yakimix kami kakain ni husband on sunday for our anniversary date! craving for sashimi and tempura na ngayon palang....

wanted to try sambo kojin last night, but we got stuck at trinoma so we opted to try yakimix... grabe, at 6pm (and a weekday at that!) pa lang ang haba na ng waiting list!... we went inside just to check out the menu, and parang ang tagal nga nila magrefill ng food coz marami nang ubos sa mga serving plates... anyway, next time na lang ulit...

we inquired kung pwedeng magpa-reserve for a group of ten, and how much in advance kami magpa-reserve... sabihan ba naman kami ng manager na at least 1 week daw for big groupS kasi mabilis daw talaga mapuno ang reservations nila...

Daming tao sa tomas morato branch nila nung nandun ako. I tried their buffet. Not bad siya for the price (madaming selections) .
