Hi po mga sis,

Help naman po, my friends and I will be going to San Jose Mindoro on Feb 18 to 20 our problem is that we dont have itinerary another problem is that flight time going back to Manila on the 20th is 6am un n [textspeak!] po kasi n abutan nming sale seats s air phil

Questions po mga sis.
1) if s san jose resorts lang po kami mag stay mabilis po b kami maka balik s airport on the 20th m abutan po b namin [textspeak!] 6am?  and if my mga bus bang bumabyahe ng mas m aga s 6am p puntang airport? or if my pwedeng i rent n private van papuntan airport and how much po if ever meron?

2) ano ano pong resort [textspeak!] recommended if s San jose lang kami mag stay?  and [textspeak!] estimated damage for room and food if ever?

if sa umaga kayo ng 18 Feb, try out this itinerary. if you stay in san jose lang, maabutan nyo flight nyo kasi the airport is around 5 minutes away lang from the town center. you can stay at the sikatuna beach hotel (2 minutes away from airport) whose prices range from 800 pesos (standard room for 2) to 1200 pesos ( may heater na rooms) plus food with average going prices lang naman sa restaurant nila. must try ang seafood sa resto ng mismong sikatuna. for the day, you can hire a boat (more or less 1k) and spend the day at white island. balikan lang. sa 19 naman, spend the day sa bukal resort, located in brgy san nicolas, magsaysay, occidental mindoro. katabing bayan ng san jose. balikan lang din yan. proud to say, kami ang nag establish sa bukal. for free yan dati pero kung magkaroon man ng entrance around 20 pesos lang [textspeak!]. you can hire a trike for this. agahan nyo ang balik, around 3pm para you'll have time to drop by ligad for some beautiful souvenirs hand carved by kuya nonong. then on the 20th pahatid kayo sa service ng sikatuna hotel papunta sa airport. pwede din kayo pasundo upon arrival sa 18th. kung gusto nyo pareserve dun i can help you out. regular customer ako dun.

another question if we stay in sikatuna pano po kami pupunta ng ilin, ambulong and white island? and if how much din po ang transpo going to those places..hayzz ang hirap pala talaga kapag walang itinerary hehe patulong po ulit sana sis nutz..thanks in advance po ulit

you can ask the very helpful staff to help you in hiring a boat, sis. i know of a resort in ambulong who has their own boat for guests. want me to get the contact number? para direct na sa kanila questions nyo. pati na rin contact number ng sikatuna kunin ko na rin... i'll post it next time i get in here...

help naman til now [textspeak!] pa kami place to stay and [textspeak!] pa kami makausap na bangkero. baka kasi mahal pag dun na kami maghanap eh. meron ba sa inyo mga sis may alam na contact sa mga bangkero? meron ako isa nakausap 3.5k for 1 whole day mejo ang mahal ata nun. hope someone can help me. malapit na ako maging stress mode. first time kais namin to go to mindoro with my family kaya sana mejo okay.

^ sis talaga ba nasa IT nyo ang apo reef? dun lang ba kayo punta? kami tom na alis pero [textspeak!] kasi ako masyado alam dun kaya sa sablayan lang kami and then pandan island. di ko na reply si sis nutz about sa mga okay na places and boat rentals so DIY ako sa planning. sana okay naman ang travel namin.

yup sis kasama sa IT namin ni rocky ang apo reef. sana ok ang weather ngayon at sa susunod na panahon. super haba daw kasi ang travel time sa boat papuntang apo reef.

ask ko sana what IT nyo eh. pagdating nyo ba straight na kayo agad sa apo reef tapos dun na din kayo stay? tagal nga daw ng travel time kaya di na din kami punta and wala matutulugan eh kasama namin mga kids and elderly kaya baka mahirapan sa byahe.

hindi sis. magsablayan muna kami or san jose muna tapos tour doon then the next day kami mag apo reef. overnight kami dun then kinabukasan balik na rin ng san jose.

may place to stay na ba kayo sis? ang plan pa lang namin is that tom pagdating eat kami sa sikatuna for lunch kasi wait namin ang aircon bus going to sablayan kasi around 10 am pa daw ang alis eh.

^wala pa sis, maya pa kami mag-meeting eh. baka sa sablayan na lang kami mag-overnight ng first day para mas malapit na sa apo reef.

I'm back - tanned and toasted - from our Pandan Island-Apo Reef Adventure. Went with a travel group so I can't help with the breakdown of costs.

Pandan Island. We rode a glass bottomed boat to get here. That helped us see the Pawikan swimming around Pandan Island. I was surprised we were the only Pinoy guests during our overnight stay there. We were surrounded by foreigners - from Russia, Czech Republic and other EU countries according to Aling Marina (the owner). Since they don't accept CCs, they pay via Paylpal.  They have a laptop tapos dun na lang iinput ng guests yung payment nila. O ha, o ha.

You should walk all the way to the rock formations at the right end of the powder white beach. It is a great place for camwhoring. 

Apo Reef. A paradise tucked 3hours away from Pandan Island. Since it is a protected area, merong mga guardians yung Island - sundalo, PNP and DENR. White sand. Clear waters. Medyo maalon nga lang yung beach nung bandang hapon na. We explored the lighthouse and their lagoon. Too bad, wala kaming nakitang Pawikan. last year daw, swerte yung group na andun kasi nakakita sila ng hatching ng egg. Snorkeling galore.

Both island operate using solar energy. O ha! Fifth-class municipality pero may solar panels. I was so amazed.

Both islands import their freshwater from the mainland so we had to endure two days of bathing in saltwater. Even the poso produces saltwater. They do have freshwater pero limited to say... 2-5 tabo per person lang yun siguro. So prepare to use your drinking water to wash up if you can't stand saltwater. Conserve freshwater.

I wish the place won't get "too" developed. Sure, inconvenient talaga ang lack of freshwater but foreigners can stand it for weeks (yes, some stay for weeks) and they are fine with it. It is part of the adventure anyway.

^ sis 500 pesos ang glass bottomed boat. good for 1 hr na yun. you can ask any1 there kasi government run yung glass bottomed boat na yun.

btw, if you happen to stay sa pandan island dun sa sinasabi ni sis melodymedley na rock formation on the right side meron dun mga nipa hut ask mo kung pwede kayo mag trekking papunta dun sa lagoon. its not that far pero worth it ang ganda nung secret place na yun.
