^^they have sterling silver at wellmansons... i think sila lang ang meron sa mga accessories' materials stores sa quiapo... rhodium and high quality plated lang sa CBC, but they have the widest array of chains...

^wala akong alam, but you may try youtube first. may mga tutorials dun. that was my reference when i made my first-ever DIY bracelet

^^actually, maraming beading classes... you can easily find them online thru sulit.com or even those mommy websites... meron din sa shopwise na nag-advertise ng classes at 4K/classes...

but, i would advise against taking formal beading classes... alam mo, yung joy na nakagawa ka dahil sa sarili mong sikap at creativity is really different... personally, i believe taking classes like this will limit your creativity, and masasanay ka practicing with the things you learned rather than be adventurous with your own work... like suggested, try to learn from youtube... ang dami dyan na nagtuturo ng basics... yan lang ang kailangan mo, plus a lot of creativity and imagination...

formal training is good so you learn techniques but enrolling at bead making lessons is costly.. i tried to search at multiply, medyo mahal din.

alternative to attending bead/jewelry making seminars, you can also purchase japanese magazines from national bookstore. i have more than 10 (P85 lang ang isa). ang daming ideas na meron dun. tapos they also show how to do a particular design. even yung bead patterns meron. medyo mahirap lang intindin sa umpisa kasi japanese yung words. pero ok naman yung illustrations, at pag na-gets mo na, madali nang sundan.

I was into beading for awhile lang and bought the beads and locks at quiapo. Wellmanson is the best place in quiapo for beadbuying!

mejo expensive na ito sis, (for me ha) naka attend na rin ako with EM, pero nung time na yun alam ko mga 2k lang ata binayad ko... ok naman yung training nya I must say may matututunan ka naman. Pero if I we're you nood nood ka muna ng mga tutorial sa youtube super dami dun then practice kahit yung single string na bracelet lang muna, super dali lang sis ang challenge talaga sa beading is how to start and lock yung design mo syempe depende pa rin sa materials na gagamitin mo. Yung P2800 na ibabayad mo sa beading class reserved it marami rami ka ng mabibiling beads and materials sa 2800 pwede na ngang pampuhunan yun..

I so much agree with you sis. Talking from my personal experience, iba yung sarili mong gawa at design. I mean masaya kapag nakagawa ka on your own. Ganon kasi nafeel ko when I first made my own bead accessories that later bacame my home business, wala lang na curious lang ako kung paano na form into bracelet yung mga beads, from there I started to make my own. Ang sarap kaya sa pakiramdam people are asking kung san mo nabili yung suot mo then tell them "gawa ko!" oh di ba bongga?! haha tapos ayun na business na yan.

how about polymer clay/supplies sa Quiapo? meron din kaya?
