Hello mga Sis in Bahrain, first of all I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to ask sana for your opinions regarding transferring to Bahrain. Actually we are currently based in Qatar. Now, my offer to work kasi si hubby sa Sofitel Zallaq resort. I've been in Bahrain for 8 months but that was back in '07 and i was single then. Can you please give me some insights whether ok ba magtransfer kami? Ok na ba ang political situation dyan? How is the cost of living? Family friendly din ba dyan?

Appreciate your replies. Thank you.

Marami rin kayong pwedeng gawing activity as a family.

hope nakatulong ako :)

^hi sis, when I went in Bahrain last 2007, I was lucky to get an agency who don't require placement fee, pero depende yan sa employer.

I was there from 2007 to early 2010 dahil lumipat dito sa Qatar ang company namin.  For me mas less ang cost of living sa Bahrain lalong lalo na ang accommodation.  As what sis hairt mini said, may one BHK na 150-200BD lang or 1,500-2000QR.  Eh dito sa Qatar it will cost you 4,500-5000QR (450-500BD) for one BHK. Grabe ang mahal diba.  As to food and other necessities, almsot the same.  Mas family friendly kasi open country ang Bahrain at may pork  :D.

^hi sis, pasensya na, i forgot the name of the agency.  But you can check POEA website para sa mga legal na agencies at yung may mga job order na din.

I'm planning to work sa Bahrain din. Like bibigyan ka daw ng work dun pero pagdating mo sa Bahrain, you'll end up as a prostitute daw.
