What are your top 3 birthday party theme choices?

1.  Hello Kitty
2.  Zoo Party

1. Party Pilipinas (ha-ha... m not plugging... it's more of i am referring to the dance and singing concert ang dating)
2. English Tea Party (i wanna see kids in those outfit na parang yung sa stepford's wives)
3. Carnival Party (the free flowing type... )

ako naman eto gusto ko. emie meron din ako pang pinas. yan yung #1 plan ko sana. nag comment lang si daddy and yaya. hehe
1. fiesta - - as in gusto ko yung traditional na fiesta ang dating. tapos kukuha ako ng dance group para ma expose and maturuan ang mga kids and adults. gusto ko yung games yung ginagawa din sa fiesta. buffet food all filipino type food. tapos may buffet din ako ng merienda-samalamig, best kakanin, saging / mais con hielo, halo-halo... sorbetero... the decor will be more on flowers and baneritas and balloons

2. zodiac signs - - eto yung chinese animal signs... meron kasi kami napanood sa disney na "zodiac" yung title. story ng race nila kung bakit #1 si rat etc... so naisip ko, why not this theme. plus yung venue sa bulacan na bagay na bagay promise dun sa theme ko. covered venue pero considered outdoor pa din sya... takot lang ako sa ulan kaya hindi ko 'to tinuloy...

3. all pixars - - since lahat ng pixar movies eh fav ng mga anak ko...

but we ended up one single pixar theme for my ken's bday... para daw hindi chapseuy since eto yung pinaka fav nya sa lahat ng pixar. as per request by their dad...

ay.. moi, actually, while we were having fun with the wave last Saturday, naisip naming maging theme yang Fiesta sa 6th birthday ni Jade.. he-he.. as in gusto namin yung may mga games na pang-fiesta... kasi nung mga bata pa kami, pag fiesta sa lugar namin, parang reunion ng family namin sa mother side ko kasi lahat ng mga kapatid niya and their respective family (14 silang magkakapatid) eh dumarating kaya nagpapalaro si Mama ng bukod... ha-ha... diyahe kasing pasalihin dun sa yung para sa residence ng lugar namin... eh matagal-tagal na rin naming di nai-experience yun.. kasi noon yun nung mga bata pa kami... he-he...

anyway, super undecided pa rin kami since June na yun... he-he... hanap pa kami ng venue na grassy ang dating at hindi accident prone... for adults, balak talaga naming may agawang buko at palosebo... ha-ha... for kids, siyempre yung soda drinking contest na may tatlong straw pero yung isa eh may butas, hanapan ng marshmallow sa bowl of cornstarch, mga relay games, human bingo, last man standing... samahan na rin ng agawan panyo at patintero... ha-ha..

1. Plants vs. Zombies (if they werent any violent reactions or if it was easy to find, I would've had this as my daughter's theme for her 1st birthday)

2. Venetian masquerade ball

3. Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton's version) Morbid ba? Hehe.

For my daughter's 4th, we're going to have Toy Story 3 for a party theme. As usual, Olive (Let's Party) will help me with the planning.

For those who have seen the movie, read on. If you haven't seen it, don't read this post.


For us, the moral lesson of the movie was that "TOYS ARE MEANT TO BE PLAYED WITH".

So, we will be asking our guests to bring in old or new toys and books in lieu of gifts and we will be donating them to charities.

We'll even have a separate box for "Caterpillars" (the young ones) and "Butterflies" (the older kids). WE HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE TOYS WILL BE AGE APPROPRIATE FOR THE KIDS.

This party will be simple (since we're going to do away with the frills) but meaningful.

^ our 6 year old daughter got teary eyed after watching the movie and we are so grateful kasi it only means na talagang naa-absorb na niya at naiintindihan yung moral lesson ng story.  the next day, bigla niyang niyaya ang tita niya (young cousin of mine) to clean her play place and organized her toys.
