i'd highly encourage to design something and FB/e-mail these to invited guests... scrimp on the invites and add the budget na lang to the food...

some kasi want to have it all and get it all,  but they dont have the budget naman so andami ngang elements ng party nila pero so-so lang... sayang

pili ka lang sa birthday invitations, daming maganda

i just clicked on personalize then sinundan ko lang yun steps. nun una nga hindi ko alam if puwede ko ba madownload, ang option kasi nila dun is parang add to cart, so you have to pay for it kung gusto mo ng printed copy.

once finished ka na sa pag upload ng pic & pag input ng text na gusto mo, may option na Preview. tinry ko lang , right click then save as, ok naman , mase-save sya as bitmap file,. i save as mo nalang sya as jpeg file. maganda naman yun resolution and ok naman nun napa-print ko:)

sis, tinary ko design galing sa baby shower.. hehe for my baby's baptismal.. my prob, cant put picture in the main page.. pano kaya? wala kasi option na pwede maglagay ng picture sa mismong invite.. sa second page pwede kaya lang parang back view ata yun., pls help.. thanks..

We always get Loida Yu of CutePrints to make our invites.  Her designs are fresh and hip, not the usual cheesy character cards. 

We just send her teh details and concept we like and in 2 weeks, she delivers it to our house na.

I'd like to share my DIY Invitations for my kids' party last 2009. Spongebob yung theme namin. Actually, the day of party was also the day after Ondoy. Kaya half lang ang nakapunta sa party nila, but at least meron pa rin nakarating.

That time, biglaan yung party ng kids ko, I only had 2 weeks to prepare for everything. It was supposed to be lunch and dinner na lang with relatives sa labas, then sudden change of plan kaya ayan, lumabas ang skills ko. LOL. 

I did the lay-out with the help of a good friend of mine, then I had it printed out as a picture and had it cut pa-lengthwise. I didn't use envelopes, but instead I used printed origami papers and folded it and sealed it with spongebob stickers.

It is like a ticket, kaya meron admit one up to four. If yung bisita ko 4 sila, I only gave one invitation with the "admit four", para tipid ako sa print. Then meron din parang claim stub for the loot bags ng mga kids, pero hindi ko na napicturan.

I am also planning to create invitation using the templates online for mickey mouse clubhouse. nung dedication ng baby ko, ako din gumawa naghanap lang ako ng magandang border online. nakakatuwa kasi talagang effort yung ginawa instead na bumili ng invitation. template lang sa google madami nang pagpipilian.

Hi, where did you have the invites printed and how much did it cost?  I'm designing my daughter's invitation too, and still contemplating whether to print them on our home printer or have it printed else where.  If you don't mind my asking, how much did the package cost?

try making invites out of mixed media like cloth and rubber. add details like buttons, pins and hair clips...you'll be surprised on how nice it would come out other than just having the invites printed on paper. You can do lots of things from scratch.

Try this:

1. have your little child's hand painted then ask her to print it on paper
2. Have your local stamp maker do the pattern
3. Stamp the pattern on paper and have your child print his/ her name via handwriting on it
4. put some glitters and ribbons to add details
