wow, you sound more excited than nervous. good for you, nung 1st solo travel ko, hesitant pa din ako kahit last minute na. hehe

ayun pala, sa una lang mahirap. last week lang, I traveled Viet-Cambodia (and crossed Thailand border) alone too. parang wala na lang kahit may crossing the borders factor na. traveling solo is more than just soul searching and tamang senti. i realizes it's a preference.

thanks sis riandrew.  yeah i'm actually more excited than nervous, yung ibang gal friends ko ayaw ako papuntahin kasi Mindanao daw ang Dakak, sabi ko naman, I researched and safe naman sa part na pupuntahan ko, malayo naman yung magulong part.

that's my orig plan pero baka next yr na lang with my sister, gusto ko talaga magpunta sa Angkorwat.  How was it? how many days ka dun sis? share naman ng stories, thanks

mga sis don't be afraid to travel alone.. for me magandang experience to travel solo.. like hawak mo yung time mo and mas maeexplore mo yung place na pupuntahan mo at higit sa lahat madami kang mameet along the way.. i just traveled solo last week for 8 days kl-sg-bkk at super nagenjoy ako! dami kong nameet na mga traveler din at sobrang nakakatuwa yung mga stories nila sa mga travel nila..

sis nikx, when you traveled alone, did you join a group tour going around the place? what other nice places you tried travelling alone?

^sis first time ko to travel alone at first time ko lang din pumunta dun and i really enjoyed it! sure na uulitin ko yun! i never went on tour, diy lang lahat.. talagang inaral ko yung public transpo since mahal mag taxi.. i always have map with me at yung address ng hostel just incase..

@nikx: wow, i bet that was a great, liberating experience. 

ang mahirap nga lang when you travel solo is when taking photos.  I'll buy a monopod na to practice taking good shots hehe.

hay malapit ko ng ma-wean ang 10month old baby ko and excited na akong maka-get away. i needed this. for soul searching. i feel bugbog and burnt out and i just want quiet. away from everyone i know (and love).

^ Yup, I've traveled to Boracay alone a couple of times. It's safe Usual advice anywhere you're going: be aware of your surroundings and be wary of super friendly people.
