OFW here... 900 every year ang contribution sa philhealth... binabayaran bago makuha yung exit clearance

simula nga pala ng August 1, 2010 mandatory na ang PagIBIG contributions for OFWs. minimum of p100 maximum is p1450 for monthly payments. pwede mag advance payments

Sorry for my ignorance, kasi wala naman ako hawak na reference number or ID man lang from Phil Health kaya di ko alam kung member ba ako or not.

so kaiilangan wala kang mga utang na di pa nababyaran? like cc, or loan na di pa tapos bayaran and in good standing naman?

two years after i resigned, ngayon ko lang naasikaso yung philhealth ko. sisi nga ako kasi dapat pala, dati pa ako nag-voluntary contribution.

question lang po especially dun sa nakakaalam, ang pagkakaintindi ko based sa website nila, you only have to have 3 monthly contributions with 6 months prior to hospitalization to avail the benefits.

pero nung nagtanong ako sa philhealth office (las pinas branch), sabi nung nakausap ko, pag ordinary confinement lang applicable yung 3 monthly contributions within 6 months. pag may operation/surgery involve na or maternity, dapat daw may active contributions for 3 quarters or 9 months prior to the procedure. ganun ba talaga?

pareho kaming freelancer ni hubby ngayon at walang HMO, so malaking tulong sana itong philhealth if ever need ko talaga operahan.

for richel0002:
pag freelance ka and you want to avail of the pag-ibig benefits dapat minimum 24 months ka na naghuhulog pero kung hindi i think pwede ka magbulk payment. syempre yung pwede mo i loan na amount depends on the monthly contribution so mas maganda kung mas malaki yung monthly contribution mo. hope this helps... you can get more info sa website nila...

Meron din bang minimum number of required payments ang Philhealth for you to become a lifetime member? Di ba sa SSS may 120 months required for you to get pension when you retire - meron bang ganito sa Philhealth?

My husband is a Philhealth member, covered ba niya ako once na hospitalized ako?

Medyo confusing din. As I said before, consistent ako sa philhealth contribution ko for 4 years. 2 years na din ako di nag c-contribute. Does it mean wala na yung mga na contribute ko noon?

Tapos, for some reason, natigil yung contribution for 2 months. Then I turned 60 the following day. What will happen? Considered Lifetime member ka pa rin kaya?  :-\

if natigil ka sa paghulog sa philhealth, you need to have 3 monthly contributions within 6 months prior to hospitalization. pero according sa nakausap kong taga philhealth, pag may major operation involve or pag nanganak ka, dapat 3 quarters or 9 months worth of contribution prior to hospitalization. at di pwede retroactive payment. so dapat mag-start ka ng mahulog ulit ngayon and hope na di mo kaylangan gamitin philhealth mo in the next 6 to 9 months. or easier siguro, since active naman membership ni hubby mo, ipadeclare mo na lang na dependent ka niya.

Eto po ang nakalagay sa Philhealth website:

After having reached the age of retirement and have paid at least 120 months premium to the program (including those made during the former Medicare Program), PhilHealth members are granted lifetime coverage. As Lifetime members, they are also entitled to the full benefits together with their qualified dependents.

My husband is a Philhealth member, covered ba niya ako once na hospitalized ako?

Medyo confusing din. As I said before, consistent ako sa philhealth contribution ko for 4 years.

Na-eexpire.
