magkano ba ang salmon?

Up for the Salmon Diet..

I don't cook, pero I'd like to try, sana may mag-share pa dito ng recipes nila..
I just watched a vid from youtube, does it matter kung wild or farm-raised yung salmon for this diet?

it seems better choice ang wild salmon (pacific /alaskan), san naman nakakabili nito?
sa grocery, norweigian lang nakita ko - farm raised daw ito...

^ try farmers' market, cubao. i believe most seafoods are available from there...if you're not in that area, u my also try high-end supermarkets like S&R, Rustan's, Landmark, Market Market; they have a wide range to choose from. if there's no fresh ones available, try the frozen ones, usually it's already fillet...as for the recipe, since you're in a diet, the best way to cook it is steamed, unsalted :) if no way talaga, there's always century salmon in a can ;)

I happened to listen to an audio book entitiled The Miracle of Self-Discipline by Brian Tracy. Kasama sa book niya yung Discipline of Excellent Health Habits. From his book, he was telling that the secret is to "eat less and excercise more." "Stop eating anything white. No flour, no sugar, no salt. Eat only fruits, vegetables and protein. No pasta, no bread, no rolls, no cakes, no desserts, no coke, no colas. Drink lots of water. Eat light before 6pm at night. Anything you eat before 6pm burns up before you go to bed. Don't eat 3 hours before going to bed."

..if there are girls here who are doing the 'Kellogs special K 2 weeks challenge', 'Nestle Fitness diet', in which u have 2 replace 2 of your meals with cereals, or those that are taking supplements:

na-sad naman ako dito sis.. kaka-bili ko lang ng 3 box ng cereals. naubos ko na nga yung 2 box.

Puro fruits ako madalas, paminsan-minsan fish or chicken.. pero para di ako gutumin, nag-ce-cereal din.. ano na kaya papalit ko sa cereal kung di pala maganda masobrahan nito  :-\

share ko lang po...if there are girls here who are doing the 'Kellogs special K 2 weeks challenge', 'Nestle Fitness diet', in which u have 2 replace 2 of your meals with cereals, or those that are taking supplements:
"Limit eating cereals since it has phytate (a phosphate storage compound), that interferes with the absorption of zinc. Other nutrients such as calcium, vitamin D, protein and fiber also decrease the bioavailability of zinc."

http://www.stlukesmedicalcenter.com.ph/zinc_deficiency.php

na try ko toh pero parang tumaba ako sa sugar content nito..true no nutrition na makukuha dito not unlike na kumain ka talaga ng fruits and veggies..madali kang uhawin dito at parang mabilis ako manghina
