I agree sis, we travel via pal.. Kahit mas mahal pa rin promos nila compared to other airlines..mas comfortable ako sa pal..

my son's yaya is going home for a vacation on December kaya on the lookout ako for a sale. ang mahal ng regular rate for Dipolog/Zamboanga. more or less 7k ang round trip. parang out of the country ang rate.

30 kilos na ang baggage allowance nila for economy. I'm not sure if this is for all international flights ha. pero for Australia, yes!

sa mla-tokyo-mla flight naman nila 46 kilos! yehey!

^I stand corrected. The rest of Asia EXCEPT For Japan is still at 20-23kgs FBA. NRT NGO FUK KIX have different FBAs even if they're all Japanese destinations. FUK &  KIX 23kgs while NRT NGO at 2pcs@50lbs per pc.  AUH is 30kgs also. Introductory FBA for the new route. 

Totally different from the olden days when the piece system works for US and CANADA while the rest of the world does 20 30 40kgs depending on the class of service. 
 
Some airlines assign different FBAs depending on the booking class so check your tickets to be sure. Happy travels.

^Unless otherwise provided in the e-ticket, yes, for MNLYVR flights on economy class, it's 2pcs, 23kgs each per passenger.

Does anyone know the number of PAL's treasury department? I've been calling Customer Service many times since September 10 and they still haven't issued my hubby's eticket.

His flight is this Sunday already, my card has been deducted of the amount but CS still says that it's still under Treasury's verification. We are both getting restless on this matter. This is the first time it happened. I used the same card to book for my ticket last August and there has been no problems at all. Help please.

ano ba yung eticket? diba pag nagbook ka may marereceive ka lang na itinerary receipt? yung parang may highlighter na blue? tama ba na walng barcode yun? andyun lang ba need ko ipakita sa airport?

kung magcacancel ka pala ng flight, until when pwede for regular economy fare type? 24hrs prior to departure?

Sis check mo kasi aside from hand carry may allowable checked baggage na ata ang PAL. if wala, call them up

^yes sis included na sa tix yong 15kg na check-in baggage plus 7kg na hand carry, . hehe! minsan lampas pa nga pero sabihin mo lang na may laptop lulusot na yon. 10kg naman sa maliit na plane.

may nagtry na ba magcancel ng flight nila while staying overseas? Paano yung process nila ng pagcancel. Nasa province kasi ako ngayon so mahal tumawag ng long distance sa PAL. tagal pa naman ng waiting time.

Strict ba ang pal when it comes to the checked in baggage dimension both check in and hand carry, although hindi naman overweight, this is for international fligt.

^sis, hindi din consistent and PAL sa baggage rules nila. My brother from the US came home twice to Manila this year and iba-iba yung experience nya. The first time coming home SFO-MNL, he had two pcs of check-in bags. Yung isa lumagpas lang ng konti sa kilo while the other one kulang naman, sinabihan sya na excess daw yung isang bag nya so he had to transfer some stuff into the other bag.   

Then on the way back MNL-SFO, over ng 2-3 kgs both bags but learning from his previous experience ready sya maglipat sa handcarry nya which walang masyadong laman. Pero hindi naman sya sinita. His second trip ni hindi naman lang daw pinansin yung check-in bags nya on both ways. Medyo malaki din yung ginamit nya na BB box kasi puro pasalubong for Christmas.

So if ayaw mo nang ma-hassle or maki-discussion, stick to the stated check-in/handcarry baggage weights/dimensions.

^ mahal kasi excess fee, but i do get it now with the 62 inches limit, mali kasi pagkaintindi ko with the 62 inches, what i did i measure all the sides of my bag which is dapat length +width+ height lang,  i panic akala ko maliit lang ang 62 inches for a bag haha.

Does Pal allow combined baggage allowance for group check-ins?  Alam ko Cebu Pac allows this eh, Pal din ba?  We'll be flying in a few weeks with my kids and instead of bringing 3 separate luggage I'm thinking of just bringing one big one puwede kaya yun?  My parents daw kasi last year got charged for excess baggage when they did this during their Japan trip e.  Can someone confirm this?  Thanks! =)
