about sa PAL.. yung hubby ko nagvovolunteer sa airport pagod na pagod siya pero need niya tumulong dahil sa mga natanggal sa work gang nungsept 30 nalang sila bukas pa ako makikiupdate.. ngayon lang ako nakabalik sa GT.. haiz

I hope they fall into some sense of normalcy come 1st week of Nov. Folks flying to SIN on the 1st.

Operating flights are posted on the airline website, schedules till 27oct.

for facility seats, when will I know that they're gonna bump my seat?during the  check-in process or when I'm already inside the aircraft?

^how did you get that facility seats? as far as i know, during check-in, you will be notified if you can be accomodated or not. but there are times that they can still bump you off your seat, though seldom lang mangyari ito

^I called them to pre-assigned my seat. Its a 17-hour flight so I don't want be stuck in the middle seat. Hopefully, they let me know during check in if they're gonna change my seat assignment. Thank you for your reply sis!:)

^you're welcome sis. i think it's better if you're gonna be there early kasi sometimes they don't make the effort of informing pax for such details. sasabihin nila mas marami sila kinokontak na mas important like cancelled or delayed flights. alam mo na...

my cousin still has the old passport and the expiry date is on 2012. will PAL still accept my cousin's old passport??? We'll be going in HK on the last week of October.

^When exactly is the expiry date? As long as the passport validity is at least 6months or more before the intended departure date, pwede pa.

march 2012 is the expiry date. I called PAL and they said na at least 3 months daw. Sis, is it really 6 mos?

^6 months validity is the general rule. But for short haul flights like HKG pinapayagan na rin ng airline and ng immigrations as long as kumpleto with the other required documents i.e. round trip tickets

sure po yun @mama squeak? pwede parin makaalis pinsan ko sa oct 27? sayang naman kasi kung hindi sya makasama and hindi na sya makapagrenew ngayon kasi hindi na yun abot.

Yes genrou, for nearby Asian countries at least  3 months passport validity is ok.

I checked with PAL. and they say, they follow the 6month rule. kung ihahabol ko kaya yung renewal ngayon, aabot pa kaya sa oct 27?

^ may appointment na ba for renewal? nung nagparenew kasi ko last year, May ako nagpasked pero July pa yung nakuha ko na appointment. then after 10 days bago nakuha (1200). not sure na lang ngayon kung nabago yung days ng release.

kung ilang days lang siguro sa HK papayagan na yan, may nabasa ko before na blog. expired na passport niya, nakalusot pa siya sa KL galing siya nun sa australia.

5 days po kami sa HK. Tumatawag kami sa DFA, wlang sumasagot. Tumawag narin ako sa cust. service ng PAL, okay lang daw ang  3 months.... pero nagchat ako sa PAL facebook, they follow daw the 6 months rule.

^oo nga sis. kasi may friend ako nasa airport na siya hindi siya pinaalis kasi less than 6 months na ang expired date ng passport niya.
