Scuba Diving

Isa sa pangarap ko din mag scuba dive. Kaya lang di pa carry ng budget ko. Haha. Soon. 
Sa mga diving spot na napuntahan nyo? ano pinakamaganda? Sana makapag diving lesson din ako't  ma experience yan. hehe

up to date my most beautiful dive was Moalboal  pa rin. Sabi ng iba Apo Island is the best, pero di ako masyadong nag enjoy doon. Malapascua nice din.

^, hindi naman sis required na magaling kang lumangoy para maging scuba diver ka, as long as your relax and confident sa tubig pasok ka na sa banga, hehe.

pag nasa moalboal ka or malapascua andaming mga scuba center don, mag shop to shop ka and talk to instructors and divemaster, pakiramdaman mo kung sino makakabigay ng full and tamang info sa iyo kahit na medyo may kamahalan ang price, dito kasi sa amin may regulated price so walang pababaan ng presyo dito, but im not sure sa ibang lugar, kaya pag nag dive ako i dont usually go sa lower prices kasi minsan it suffers the quality of the service :-)

^^hi sis ann08, i agree with Shiecg na kailangan relaxed and confident ka underwater para makapag-scuba dive ka, kasi delikado pag nag-panic ka underwater.

pero what i would say is that, yung "confidence underwater" is directly proportional to how well you can swim. so the better swimmer you are, the more confident you will be underwater. but if you're quite a newbie swimmer or as you put it "hindi marunong mag-swim", hmmm, i'd like to caution you. mahirap nang magka-panic attack ka underwater.

kasi, oo nga meron namang tank and all so you can breathe underwater kahit di ka "marunong lumangoy", pero paano kung may unforeseen circumstance? pag di ka confident sa tubig, baka mag-panic ka, then that might be dangerous.

meron kaya dito sa manila lang .. gusto ko talaga magaral magscuba diving.. problem ko rin basic swimming lang din alam ko ,,  sana bago matapos ang taon marunong nako

I don't know how to swim but i tried scuba diving.  Usually kasi may kasama kanaman mag dive to guide you esp for a newbie like me :-D

There is a scuba shop inside BF Paranaque.  I think Scubaworld is the name.  They also offer training courses for certification.  They have a small training pool next to the shop where they conduct scuba diving lessons.  It is worth checking out if you are from Las Pinas.

I just finished my PADI Open Water Course and it's very awesome! It was held in makati and batangas. Just let me know if you want to enrol for the course, i can refer you to my instructor.

I just finished my pool sessions with Dencio of Planet Dive. I highly recommend Dencio coz he's the only certified NAUI (National Association of Underwater Instructors) in the Philippines. Ang galing niya magturo, you won't feel insecure or unsafe underwater. Check-out na namin this weekend at Anilao and I'm soooooo excited!!!

finally tried scuba diving last month .. now i want to take open water course.. anyone gusto sumabay saken ? btw.. un first try ko sa anilao we met nice police man from pnp maritime group .. then tinuruan nia kame for free , even mga gears pinahiram kame.. tapos 4 dives.. open water dive agad, 100ft sa cathedral and twin rocks.. nerbyos ako nung una , di ako comfortable sa breathing . pero naging ok na..

Anyone who knows saan ba merong affordable scuba diving short course? Isa sa dream ko matuto mag dive, gusto ko muna matuto kahit basic para  hindi naman ako mag panic...

pa-lurk. gustong gusto ko na din ito itry, need pa ng konting lakas ng loob. I tried intro diving in Misibis kaso masungit yung instructor kaya hindi ako ginanahan kareerin. Saka walang intro sa pool, open water agad pati breathing so nakakapressure!

Dito sa Manila, nearest na ba ang Anilao for intro-diving?

to those who have their own snorkeling gear, anong brand ang gamit niyo? meron pa bang ibang good quality brands aside from Speedo and Aquamundo?

kasi di ako satisfied sa snorkeling gear na nabili ko sa Speedo. unti-unting may nagle-leak na water sa loob ng mask while you're snorkeling, so after 1 minute you have to lift up your face and drain the water inside your mask.

first time ko pumunta sa Aquamundo last week, dun sa branch nila among Amorsolo. i wasn't very impressed sa hitsura ng store and ng products, pero ok ba talaga ang quality? na-turn-off lang kasi ako kasi i saw a display ng snorkeling mask na parang discolored na dahil sa kalumaan.

nagbasa-basa ako sa internet, i read about the brand Aqua Lung offered at Aquaventure and the brand Salvas offered at ROX. any feedback about those brands? or any other brands?

Ang sarap mag scuba. Tried it last June sa malapascua. 10 feet palang kasi first time. Nakakaba kasi hindi ako marunong lumangoy. Okay naman kaso masakit sa tenga kapag medyo malalim na dapat masanay mag equalize.

I saw a deal sa metrodeal on scuba diving with pink turtle. any feedbacks? parang fun kasi i want to try.
