i tried doing this before. scary at the start but they will tell you how it's done sa shallow part lang. then palakasan lang ng loob.super worth it ang experience. i'm thinking if i can have the courage to be certified.

^Sis helga21 is correct, talagang palakasan nang loob or else you could not make it... It took me years before Ive got a courage to try it and kahit ako lang mag isa, i took the risk & I tried it talaga.  And it's all worth it ;-)

Pa-join!

I just had my 1st dive (discover scuba) in Balicasag last weekend.

Hindi pala simple magdive. Mejo challenging at risky kaya dapat makinig mabuti sa intructor. Pero pagtapos ng exercises finally nakapagdive na ko. (yung kasama ko hindi nya kinaya, nahihilo daw sya..)

Super worth it! Ang surreal ng underwater world grabe, I ran out of words. Para kong nasa screensaver ng desktop computer. Ganun ang eksena!

After 35 mins, I signalled my dive master na akyat na kami. Parang nadedehydrate na kasi talaga ako. Normal naman daw yun.

Priceless experience! Try nyo din!  ;)

pa-share isang picture muna:

http://i51.tinypic.com/2hi5q1x.jpg

the man behind me is my instructor. nakabantay talaga sya in case something unexpected will happen. say, mamisplace yung BCD ko, or atakihin ako ng lung problem ko (I signed a waiver for this, wala kasi akong medcert na dala. malay ko bang pag may history ng lung defect di pwede magdive) hihi

.. and now I know bakit mahal ang mga intro beginner dives compared pag may licensed ka na, kasi hindi ka na "alagain", sasama lang sila but not totally swim with you.  ;D

^ no one pushed me. ang pinaka-motivation ko lang, di ako aalis ng bohol hanggang di ako naka-dive! hehe

buti nga nalaman ko in advance na bawal pala sumakay ng plane after a dive. so yun, day1 palang pagkalapag ng airplane, dive na! ;D

Q. When can I fly next after diving?
A. PADI standards recommend you leave at least 24 hours after your last dive before flying. You can fly, then dive the same day, however not dive then fly.

acdg pa kay google,  Atmospheric air, which is what you breathe when you scuba dive is mostly nitrogen.

"If you have too much nitrogen in your system, using extra tanks to stay too deep, too long, when you come up to sea level and get on the boat, the nitrogen that has concentrated itself in your body and in your joints, etc., can bubble up and expand, the same way that a balllon inflated at depth in the ocean would expand and burst as it floated toward the surface, because the ambient pressure would be less as it goes higher toward the surface."

scary!  ;D

correct sis, yun din tanong nang intructor ko when I first tried scuba, dapat after 24hrs pa sumakay nang plane. But still, I experience migrane for several days, effect pa siguro nang diving yun.
