@sis beck natuloy ba kayo? i want to join din sana. i went diving in anilao 3 years ago and it is one of the best experience i ever had. ang sarap din nung lessons sa 12ft pool. i was able to conquer my fear of deep pools. i just never had the time and money to try it again. dream ko pa naman maging certified diver and also to join yung mga naglilinis ng mga reef.

^This is really a big help. Sis megan, since you tried na in cebu, any suggestion where to try intro to scuba there? I'm staying Bacolod kasi, so its nearer to me.  Or also in mla, I might go there on vacation next month.

Crissy,ive stayed last year sa bohol divers resort in Alona beach panglao island sa bohol,they have good facilities and 7.5k lang ata na spend namin for a 3d2n stay and 3 dives....ganda ng mga sites there,google mo their sites i think they have one...sinama lang kasi ako ng friend ko

Hi, i want to join. meron akong friend he told me na parang 12T ata ang intro sa planet batangas that was 2yrs ago.. kaya lang ayaw kong sumama sa kanila cos puro boys sila... i prefer to be with girls..
and new friends ofcourse...

sis chuvaeklavu, i just inquired last month sa scubaworld-cebu, it only cost  3,000 for intro diving.  I'm due to try it next week :-)

Sis Diwata, hehe! oo nga naman. what i mean, what type of swim suit,  hindi ba asiwa naka 2 piece mag scuba dive. puro 2 piece kasi swimsuit ko  

sis chuvaeklavu, I'm from bacolod so malapit lang cebu by plane.  But still, I'll spend pa rin sa plane & Hotel here. Basta yung habol ko is to experience mag scuba diving kahit once lang in my life, dream ko yun e .  And of course dapat sa isang reputable naman na diving school, buhay ko yata nakataya dyan! Scuba world was also recommended by one of our sisses here...

^ Ah, haha. Sorry. I wore only 2 piece and the booties (foot wear) sis. Wala nga ako suot na dive suit the first time I dived. But I suggest you wear something more covered kasi ang lamig! So better ask for a dive suit.

^ Hi sis-) Pasagot.  For beginners you will have to get the Open Water Certificate course. This will teach you the basic of Diving then you'll be certified na to dive in open water (i.e. dagat or lake). Ladderized kasi ang Diving certification at least hanggang sa Advanced Open Water Certificate, meaning kelangan mo munang kunin yung entry level Open Water Certificate bago ka magmove-on sa advanced certification:-)

I have an SDI OW cert., sa Davao ako kumuha ng certificate course, and 8.5k lang yung whole course ko. Grabe nabibigla ako sa presyo sa Anilao!  Hindi rin ako marunong magswim, pero okay lang kasi iba naman ang "finning" which you use in diving sa pagswiswim :-)

I miss Diving tuloy! My dream is to dive din sa Tubbataha pero magipon muna ako ng ilang dive logs pa bago magpunta dun haha.

As for the intro dive, nung nagintro dive ako sa Planet Dive sa Anilao about two years ago parang 1.8k laang kasama na yung boat and gear.

Also I agree dun sa previous post na magandang first intro drive yung sa Planet Dive :-) Kasi shore dive sya, meaning from the shore maglalakad lang kayo hanggang sa level ng water pwede na kayong magdive.

Kasi ako nung first time kong mag dive from the boat (as in magjujump ka pababa sa dagat) or magback jump ka (patalikod) promise siguro five minutes bago ako nakatalon hahaha natatawang naiinis na nga sa akin ang divemaster ko noon~ so for intro dive talaga, dapat nga shore dive otherwise patalon pa lang sa dagat magbackout na haha!

mga sis, naginquire ako sa scuba world for open water course
for 5 days kasama na [textspeak!] diving is 17T!!!!

ang gusto ko muna sana since wala naman ako makaksamang iba,
i want to buy mga gears isa isa muna tapos intro dive lang then mag open water course ako?

ayoko naman na pagsisihan ko pagnakabili na ko ng mga gears ko ayaw ko na pala cos wala akong nakakasama....

ano advise niyo?

^Don't buy gears muna sis. Rent ka muna ng gear for your intro dive. And then pag nag OW class ka na sabihin mo sa DiveMaster/Instructor mo na bibili ka ng gear. Why? Kasi may discounts sila for scuba diving gear. So usually mas okay na magpatulong bumili sa divemaster/instructor mo. They will also have knowledge of yung good second hand stuffs kung gusto mo ng 2nd hand.

Ako noon, masyadong excited, bumili agad ako ng wetsuit ko 8.5k before mag OW class, malaman laman ko kung binili ko sana  with the divemaster ko yung suit ko 6k lang sana! SO ayun. lesson learned yaan, the hard way.

thank you sis sa advise... ill try muna talaga mag intro driving before open water... kakainis kase wala kong makasabay since [textspeak!] ibang friends ko di naman interested sa mga ganito

At last I tried Intro to Scuba Dive @ ScubaWorld-cebu last Sat!   I can't believe I was able to do it, nag lakas loob talaga ako to try kahit ako lang mag-isa since none of my friends are interested.  And tama ang mga sis natin na it's oK if you don't know how to swim, you could still dive.  It's really a great experience, try nyo.

sis, di ba nakakailang cos feeling ko puro lalaki ang nagdadive eh...
I want mag dive kaya lang ayoko masyado makipag associate sa mga guys cos medyo lapitin ako ng mga tukso...lol

anyway, my goal is to have new girl friends, ok lang kahit lalaki kaya lang ayoko ng ako lang magisang girl...

crissy extreme ka din sis... ako i want to try new things in my life alone din...
